Its actually a two-part episode. Season 10 Episode 12: Go God Go and Episode 13: Go God Go XII

So, lets say Disney miraculously decided to make some sort of new TV show with Mickey. What kind of format would you guys like to see? A collection of shorts like House of Mouse? Longer episodic stories with Mickey and the gang? Or something totally different?

As long as it isn't Donald and Mickey being roommates like how Daffy and Bugs are on The Looney Tunes Show on Cartoon Network

I would say either one would work for me, or heck both.

Shorts. Allows for more creative freedom because they can experiment without fear of being glued down to some kind of format. They can do whatever they want. If it doesn't work, no problem, its over in a few mins at most.

Sure. Or maybe they can make their series similar to Mickey Mouse Works like make double episodes and full episodes in a classical way. And then maybe they can bring back the old characters like Horace Horsecollar and Clarice Chipmunk. And maybe they can make series for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit too.

I agree with shorts too.

But I just realized, when Walt was alive there was no Mickey Mouse TV series. Just shorts sometimes.

I believe Walt Disney, while open to making live-action television shows, had no interest in making animated series for television like Hanna-Barbera was doing at the time. I'm guessing it would have to do with the major cost-cutting done to animation during that time period that resulted in Hanna-Barbera and other television cartoons looking the way they did. Although if anybody had the power to give his animated shows the proper higher budgets, it would have been Walt Disney.

In fact, I think DuckTales was the first American animated series giving a big enough budget, which was considered a big risk at the time. And thankfully, it paid off.

I feel much better now about Epic Mickey being flopped. I'll give Disney some time for Mickey Mouse, just as long as Mickey Mouse Clubhouse won't be on air forever.

I do believe The Simpsons at some point will be ended but I don't think it's anytime soon though. Obviously the Wrestling Shows won't be ending either as well as the news shows and the late night comedy shows and several game shows

Eh, I don't think The Simpsons can last without its original voice cast. At this point, the voices of Dan Castellaneta, Hank Azaria, Nancy Cartwright, etc are too ingrated in our minds as their respective characters that it would be nearly impossible to replace them.

Not to mention that the show hasn't been as profitable in recent years as it used to be. The ratings have been pretty weak for a while, but merchandising made up for that, and even that has been slipping in the past couple of years. Maybe the show will end sooner than we expect for all we know.

I appreciate your kindness, thanks. But, on record, be a little specific, because when you say no show last forever, I think that's why people are oobjecting here. So, just say no Disney show last forever. That's better.
