I seen it! And it was awesome! I still think that box office is rigged as The Princess & the Frog.

Well maybe you shouldn't have waited so long! We told you it wasn't a box office smash and we're entering the competitive summer season for movies.
Sorry I'm just really upset that this movie isn't making more money

Saw it today, was better then I imagined it would be

Can't believe the movie isn't a success, since it has the same spirit the last one had….But I'll blame Disney itself partially for it…. I've seen zero commercials or publicity for this movie in the Netherlands, and Disney isn't even releasing the muppets in all of europe!

I tried to see it about 3 weeks back and had the same happen to me. Felt like a shorter run than most movies.
I know it didn't do amazing at the box office but I really thought it would still be in most theaters until May at least.

This is actually pretty normal for the Muppet movie series. The Great Muppet Caper also grossed half the total of The Muppet Movie way back when. Didn't stop them from making The Muppets Take Manhattan afterwards. Outside of the first Muppet Movie and the Jason Segal one, it's never been a top-grossing series. But they manage to do fine since their budgets aren't that high by normal Hollywood standards, not to mention merchandise and home video sales.

Ah ok glad it isn't just me ! I'm not expecting ground - breaking money to be made, just seemed like a really speedy theatrical run is all.

Well, say goodbye to the Muppets. We'll probably never see them again because even their biggest fans don't bother to pay to see them

Don't be so sure.

Well the good thing is that Disney is backing them so I think we have a good chance of seeing them again on the big screen...or maybe the small screen as well.

Now if you guys haven't seen the movie in theaters, but do consider yourself a Muppet fan, please consider buying the movie. Home video is usually where the guys have thrived, anyway, so let's aim for big sales!

When I first saw this news, I thought it was just a joke. But it's a real deal! Next to Toy Story of Terror, Disney is pulling out all the stops!
All this Blu/DVD needs now is Party Central.

Easiest blind buy in a while. Especially since I still have yet to see the Monsters University short.
Well, when I can that is. Money is too tight to buy anything I dont need right now.

If you want the Muppets do another movie, then everybody go buy it! When it comes in stores, of course.

I really enjoyed this movie and hope it does well enough with sales to warrant another sequel. I know this one only grossed $70m as opposed to The Muppets which did $165m, but hopefully the DVD/Bluray sales help get it a bit closer.
