I like that last poster with the clothes basket. It really encapsulates what was so good about the first film—the mishmash of the typical superhero action with the domestic.

^I loved the trailer! It feels very much like the first film. I'm even more excited for it now.

Looks amazing! I'm so glad that they're bring back Helen's Elastigirl costume, or at least a variant of it, because I loved her original. The humor feels fresh and is still relatable (like the math homework). Just wish we had seen more of Violet who didn't really get any attention.

If anyone's interested apple has the uncompressed version of the trailer. Looks way better than the youtube one. You can see the film grain.

I have no idea. On the website it only says: Illustrated by RH Disney. By the way, thanks for the link to the uncompressed trailer. It really looks better than the Youtube one.

This brings back memories because I used to have all the books for The Incredibles. Most of the artwork was in the style of third book's cover. I really love the artist for the second, fourth, and fifth books as well though.

Finally saw the trailer. Looks good so far. I realized that one reason they might've chosen not to age up the children (which would have been my preference) is because Helen and Bob would've been aged up, too, and Bob already went through his mid-life crisis as it is.

Still, it feels odd to see characters from a film that feels so old to me and they haven't changed at all. Maybe because they're humans, because I didn't feel that way about Finding Dory?

I liked the trailer (I don't know why Disney's calling it a sneak peek — it's a trailer) and seeing the characters again has made me more excited about the film but I was kinda hoping they'd already be working as a superhero team in the sequel like it was suggested at the end of the first movie. We see now that the parents still don't let the kids fight and with Elastigirl doing her own thing, it doesn't look they'll be fighting bad guys together (at least, not until the third act). Also, I'm not too fond of the overwhelmed, newly stay-at-home dad trope. I'm hoping there's more to the movie and Bob's arc than him getting a handle on domestic life and appreciating everything Helen does at home.

I, too, am feeling odd about non-aging characters. Since Toy Story 3's plot was about Andy going to college and they brought back the original voice actor...I have come to expect characters to age in real-time beginning whatever time the original film was released.

(ie: When Wreck it Ralph and Frozen 2 comes out, I do not expect aging characters because those are more recent.)

I really like the dolls although poor Dash is missing. The Jack-Jack Attacks Doll will be a must have!

Thanks, JeanGreyForever! Does that mean that Mr. Incredible's car from his early superhero days will appear in the movie or are the toys from both films?
