-Have more scenes of the Queen in her regular form.
-Have a few scenes with the Prince looking for Snow White to keep him more active in the plot.
-Give the Queen a line saying that the poison apple is so beautiful and tasty looking nobody can resist it so Snow White doesn't look as ditzy.
-Have a scene showing what happens to the Huntsman.
Cinderella
-Give more screen time to Cinderella and less to the mice and Lucifer.
-Make the Prince be the one who goes out to look for the girl.
-Keep the song "The Dress My Mother Wore."
-Have Cindy try to break down her bedroom door after she is locked in.
Peter Pan
-Make Peter more likeable and Hook more menacing.
Sleeping Beauty
-Give Aurora more screen time.
-Make the final fight between Phillip and Maleficent longer.
-More scenes of Maleficent and the fairies together.
The Little Mermaid
-Have Ariel more involved in the final showdown.
-Also make it longer like maybe have Ursula use her magic to awakening dead sailors as her minions and fight Eric and Ariel.
- I liked the original idea of Ariel not getting her voice back to the very end and Eric realizing on his own Ariel was the one who saved him.
-Have a small moment of Ariel saying "I'm sorry" to Triton and have her sing the Part of That World reprise as she goes up to him on the beach.
Aladdin
- Keep Aladdin's mother and the song Proud of Your Boy.
-Also keep his friends.
-Make Jasmine more consistent of a character.
The Lion King
-Have another scene during Scar's rule and show Nala leaving.
Hunchback
-Tone the gargoyles down a bit and give them a better so.
- Also I would have had the scene that they had in the musical with Esmeralda singing 'Someday" as she was being led to being burned at the stake.
-Have Esmeralda die at the the end.
Hercules
-GIVE HADES A VILLAIN SONG!
Mulan
-Have a few more battle scenes.
The Emperor's New Groove
-Make it more about Yzma and Kronk. Keep her original plot line about wanting to destroy the sun and her song Snuff Out the Light along with her role as trying to kill Kuzco.
Princess and the Frog
-Keep the Louis/Human/Facilier subplot.
-Give Facilier more screen time and development and clearer motives. Have him be the reason for Tiana's fathers death as someone mentioned earlier.
-Cut Lawrence.
-Give Charlotte a guy at the end.
I agree with most of your points, but why having Esmeralda die at the end? She's a pivotal character and this is after all a Disney movie.

Yes, he should have been doing it! In 1997, there was a premiere of a Disney TV film called Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, which has the Prince actively searching for the girl who fit the slipper. I adore that film and the Prince scouring the kingdom for Cinderella is one of the many things I love about it.

Well true but there have been pivotal characters killed off before in Disney movies. I think it would make the ending truer to the book to have a main character die and if it is anyone it should be her.
@Sky Syndrome I know I love that movie to. Cinderella's Prince is by far the worst and most useless. At least Snow's Prince has a great song and actually has a purpose.....to bring her back with true love's kiss.

Do you mean character as Mufasa and Bambi's mother?

He probably does means them. Unlike those characters, Esmerelda appears throughout an entire film and the audience grows attached to her because she's in so many scenes and is just full of awesome so making her die at the very end would really upset her fans.

Agreed. No offense to Jay, but I just can't see why Esmeralda should die it the end in the Disney version. She is after all the love interest of both Quasi and Phoebus, so it wouldn't justify the story if she died.

I know I am probably alone on this.. But I would like to see certain sequel stories altered.. Like an Ursula backstory in TLM3 instead of that Marina del Rey crap. Or a backstory for Taka & Mufasa in TLK2. Furthermore, I would make Chicken little into a short instead of a fullblown movie which sadly did not live up to expactations. As much as I love The EmpNewGr I would prefer Kingdom of the Sun because of the beautifull "Snuff out the light" song which has now been left out. I would add songs to Treasure Planet to help the story along. I would totally rework Home on the Range but hold on to the songs. Cars 2 desperately needs oxygen to bring the story along. Also I would stick more closely to Greek mythology as regards to Hercules. The black cauldron should be more like the source material The chronicles of Pridayn. The Rescuers down under should have had Madame Medusa istead of that poacher. That's it for now

I wonder what would have happened if indeed Disney killed off Esmeralda in "Hunchback"... Would Quasi and Phoebus have gone off to run a small boutique hotel in the French countryside perhaps?

generally all good points. Though kots mightve been overkill after hunchback pocahontas mulan and tarzan and prior to atlantis and treasure planet.

She dies in the play version I think. I heard she sings " Someday " and then gets killed off.
Don't know about the slightly changed ending though.

You are not alone in so much of that stuff.

Yes, she dies in the German stage adaptation of the Disney movie. I didn't know that she sings "Someday" before it happens, but that's actually a really awesome choice. I'm not sure how well Esmeralda's death would help the movie, but it wouldn't be very bizarre for it to have happened considering
Hunchback openly tackles topics that most Disney films avoid like the plague, and the film before it (
Pocahontas) also ended on a somber note.
I think it would have been better for the gargoyles to stop speaking at the end or around the climax, to show he doesn't need to invent people to talk with anymore now that he's met Esmeralda/Frollo's died/he's joined the world outside.

I don't know why everybody is so hard on the gargoyles. When you're five years old they are a blessing. They remind you that you didn't head into a M rated movie by mistake.

Aren't there a few deleted openings that are more or less like that?

Exactly, better yet why not have the gargoyles just be back permanently into stone once they leave him alone in the final battle scene and just have Quasimodo fend off the guards by himself.
In Tangled, I wish there was a scene where Gothel tells the Stabbington Bros about her plan and tells them about Rapunzel and her magic hair, warning them that if they hurt her, they'll regret it.
Why couldn't Brother Bear's confession scene be as it originally was?? Also for Kenai to have a better personality.

Cinderella: Please leave the mice alone! This is not Tom & Jerry!
Tangled: I would add a scene with Gothel & the Stabbingtons. Less "ruffians". (I would have changed the backgrounds and have made a darker movie, even though I love it, I still think I looks kinda like a Barbie movie) More Gothel please.
The Little Mermaid: Maybe a little bit more of Ariel as a human, less Louis and Sebastian. More epic scenes
Mulan: I would have given the huns a reason to fight (or at least explain that). I would change the ending, make it more epic!
Pocahontas: The villain. Please change that. (And the stupid song they have, not "Savages", the other one) A darker villain, more racist, more cruel, despicable would have been a lot better. Pocahontas as a character was kind of boring too.
Wreck It Ralph: I would change the reason the movie is called "Sugar Rush" in Japan (Actually, I guess it's named after the game's song). There's too much focus on the candy, even more than in videogames. I'm not asking for more videogame characters, just more videogames jokes and topics.

To everyone saying give more screentime to Cinderella, her prince or her stepfamily, and less to the animals, yes, 100% agreed.
AlasmineLover:) wrote:Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: I am very bothered by the fact that Snow and the prince don't even have a conversation and she just loves him. Also, what is her real name? Surely "Snow White" is not her real one.
It's called love at first sight and yes that is her real name.
thelittleursula wrote:Cinderella. Have a seen added to the Prince where we get to know his character more and his personality. After the So this is love ? Song, have a scene where Charming and Cinders have a chat.
Agreed except they could have been chatting during the "So This is Love" montage, you know. For the prince's scene I would do the deleted concept where he hunts and animal but it is really him playing with an animal friend.

A few other things I would change about Brother Bear which I almost forgot about is that I would change Koda to the original character Grizz, who is an older bear who went on the journey with Kenai and he would teach Kenai about the world HE lived in, (voiced by the late Michael Clark Duncan) then the twist would be that Kenai killed Grizz's son; also get rid of the throwaway padding characters (The moose and the goats). Another aspect of it I would certainly change is to give Kenai, Sitka and Denahi parents (seriously where are they?!!?). But the biggest aspect which I would add is to at least give Kenai a believeable reason to why he absolutely hates bears with a passion.
