I didn't vote or send in any nominations, mostly due to previous engagements, but this was a great awards show all the same. Congrats to everyone.

I'm glad PixarFan got recognized, too. He/she's one of many who did not get nominated (because they're not loudmouths like us), but who make the board into what they are.

I am glad too. That was very unexpected. I just found out a few minutes ago actually (I have been busy with my assignments from my college class).

Congratulations, ajmrowland! Stick around, we've got more awards coming up! But first, a reason why the cast of the Jersey Shore should never ever ever be seen or heard from again...

Thanks! Oh, God....

Oh God, that Dame Julie Andrews speech by UmbrellaFish was very, very funny!
I'm very happy for PixarFan2006 aswell. He's a bit like the quiet class member who may get lost in the crowd, but he's there! I was also his Secret Santa two years ago, so we share a small connection.

Well, now that it's officially over, I can finally say congratulations to all the winners and nominees. And many thanks for all the nominations (and wins), guys. I'm so honoured that I was actually nominated for so many awards, especially since I sorta fell into the background on UD between late 2007 and early 2009.
I still say we have a Golden Donald award somewhere down the line, mind. And no, that's not an excuse for the UD equivalent of the Razzies.

Glad to read that everyone's enjoyed the awards ceremony and a further congratulations to the winners and nominees! And to all forum members, the camaraderie and community we have here is very special, and everyone is very deserving of a Golden Mickey. While these forum awards may seem like a popularity contest, it truly does celebrate the spirit and joy of posting in a community of friends from all nations. Forget what Dash Parr says about how calling everyone special really makes no one special. We all are special. And we deserve to celebrate that. So this Golden Mickey is for everyone:

Yesterday I was going to reply to Escapay's post saying that I needed replacement statuettes as mine were getting mouldy.
Then I decided it wasn't funny, at all.
I just saw Toy Story 3, by the way. Despite my bias against Pixar, I have to admit it was pretty outstanding. I hope Tangled is strong enough to challenge it - in a friendly sort of way.
Isn't there going to be an after party?
I saw Toy Story 3 in a local cinema, and the picture struck me as rather fuzzy and out of focus. It also looked rather dim. I can't help feeling it should look much better, considering I was watching 35mm film. Incredibly, I'm almost sure the Blu-ray will give me a far better film experience picture and sound-wise. I don't consider going to the cinema the "best" possible way to watch a film, especially when the print is worn or when the projectionist or whoever is in charge fails to turn up the volume (hence killing the surround sound).

I actually nominated you Mooky in two categories but I guess my votes weren't enough to earn you a place in the nominations.

Oh, please don't think that the lack of nominations is the reason I'm not around here more often. I've just gotten caught up with work and stuff. Thank you very much though!

Congratulations to all the winners, even in those categories I wish I had been in! That's how much you peeps deserve to win!
But I got an award, unless Escapay was just kidding/takes it back for the thread of the year, muahahaha!!! But I really wish I also had the chocolate.
And that wasn't my underwear, you meany! I'd never wear a character like that in that place! At least pap64 defended me.
