I almost imagine "Up" would have the same cover art... "Monsters Inc." didn't change cover art when it lost the DC for the re-release. Correct me if I'm wrong on this one.

Also weird that the Blu-ray + DVD combo pack of "A Bug's Life" sold in stores doesn't use the panel artwork that the DMC uses.

Aww that looks great! I love Ratatouille. That's like Aladdin for me, always forget how much I love it until I watch again haha.

I haven't seen Ratatouille in a long time, but I'll definitely pick this up. I've been waiting for potential combo pack re-releases of each of the Pixar films to add to my collection. By the end of 2011 I should have everything except Finding Nemo (unless we get it this year)!

I'm really surprised the TS3 cover is the same as the original release, I thought they'd switch to the half-cover thing Pixar's been doing.

I'm surprised they changed "Up" seeing as how "Monsters Inc." used the same art, especially seeing as how there is that MI cover art where the door functions as a panel.

So how different is this new release of Up different from its original combo release? Just dropped the digital copy?

Yes, much like how "Monsters Inc." did and "Toy Story 3" is now doing.

Why would they change it? That would mean that ALL the current Pixar releases would have nice, consistent cover art!! Blasphemy!!!!! You know Disney can't do that.

Seriously though, as much as I'm not a fan of the side panel layout, these are some of the nicest covers that Disney's put out in a long time. Double dipping is temptingggg.

Edit: Just wanted to see how nice they'd look if they were ACTUALLY uniform. The Toy Story 3 mock-up took all of 5 minutes... so, it really wouldn't be all that difficult for them to do. So infuriating.

Even if they did give the third movie panels, "Toy Story 2" had to switch it up with the panel on the other side.

Also, I think the "A Bug's Life" paneled combo pack is a DMC exclusive, which makes it a pain to get. So even if I DID double dip for uniformity's sake (and I've done dumber things) I'd still have to join the club and then import a "Monsters, Inc." Blu-ray.

I've never understood how things get posted on the same page they were already posted on. I mean, it's pretty understandable when it was a page or two ago, but... two posts ago? hahaha you silly kid CampbellzSoup.

Does it bug anyone else how far "Includes" is to the top center of the Blu-ray case (extreme far right for the left half)? I wish it was better centered on the left half. My gosh I sound super picky haha. It looks weird to me though.

^that was the first thing that came to mind. it looks really silly. the word "includes" is incredibly redundant

And the new Cars combo pack release has it together - just says Blu Ray and DVD! I guess we need the verb "Includes" to clear that up???
