For those who want to buy this along with Walt & el Groupo and The Boys
if you go to disneymoviecollections.com you can buy all 3
for $ 50 and get lithographs as well.

Unfortunately this offer is only for the US and Canada.

UD's Interview

:pink:

While the gallery and webisodes that were included on Amazon's list are not on the disc, it's great to read about the supplements that are (which was everything else on the Amazon list). The commentary sounds amazing since it utilizes additional interviews, I can't wait to hear it.

Are brick-and-mortar stores carrying this? I don't have my new debit card yet, and while I could use my old one, I'd rather not, so I'd rather buy it in person versus online... :?

I don't think I saw any sign of them at my local wal-mart, I'd try Best Buy or possibly Target...or the disney movie club flyer has a deal if you order over the phone you get the 3 lithographs they are offering on the disney site where you can order all 3....plus it's cheaper anyway I bet. 60% off after you buy one movie at full price.....

So, in the special features. They have footage, of Jodi Benson recording "Part of Your World." The whole song, it was so amazing to actually see that!! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ Brought a tear to my eye.

On Disney Movie Club, if you buy Waking Sleeping Beauty at regular price, you can get Walt & El Grupo and The Boys for 7.98 each (I think it only applies to VIP members though).

My copy is in transit from Amazon to me as we speak. I am SO beyond excited to see this. I've been waiting months for this release! It sounds so incredible, I'm sure I won't be disappointed, the entire concept of this documentary is pretty much a Disney dream come true for me

Just got this from Amazon this afternoon and immediately watched it–what a fantastic documentary, and it's very moving, which I didn't expect, but very much appreciated.

I wasn't thinking about buying the DVD, but now I'm completely sold! "Part of Your World" is one of my favorite Disney songs.

probably going get it this weekend.

Can anyone inform me if they have English subtitle option?

The DVD specs say that there are subtitles for both the main feature and the bonus materials, so I'll say that they will be there. I think that nowadays any feature film release from a major studio, documentary or otherwise, would include subtitles.

I just ordered this along with Walt/El Grupo and Sherman Bros from Amazon as a X-Mas gift, hopefuly it'll be worth the watch. Read the review and it made the film sound quite entertaining yet captivating (story wise).

I'm all for subtitles on bonus feats (mainly the audio commentaries) it helps me understanding/appricate the commentaries alot bet'ter.

Just watched it. I already knew a lot of the information from watching "Dream On, Silly Dreamer" but this one felt less rushed and more personal. Part of that due to the longer runtime; with it only covering 10 years and none of the bad stuff that happened after The Lion King's release ("Dream On, Silly Dreamer" covers up to the closing of the tradition animation department). I doubt they would make that sequel, as it would depress a lot of people and be bad publicity. Still, I would love to see Waking Sleeping Beauty included on one of the Blu-Ray releases of a Disney Renaissance film (like how "The Pixar Story" was an supplement on WALL·E's Blu-Ray release).

Really looking forward to seeing this, hopefully I can fit it in soon. I'm a big fan of documentaries, so I really see myself enjoying this.

That's a great idea. It would make sense to include it in the Little Mermaid bluray release, although that's still a long way off.

Plus, I don't like the fact that it wasn't released on Blu this time around.

Don Hanh's press release of this DVD is quite misleading. It mentions "over 80 minutes of bonus material"

Not even close. Talk about false advertising
