The 3D version is still coming to theaters in February. I've said this before, but representatives from Disney Store told me at the D23 Expo that Beauty and the Beast is coming to Blu-Ray in the Fall. They had the new limited edition dolls of Snow White and Tiana on display that are only available when you preorder the Blu-Rays of the films. Tiana is for the Spring when The Princess and the Frog comes to Blu-Ray and they said "Belle will be in the Fall." WDSHE has to give them advance notice to prepare merchandise tie-ins and it would also be weird for the Blu-Ray to come out less than a month after the debut of the 3D version hits theaters.DisneyJedi wrote:I guess that answers our question. I'm pretty sure. Anyone who bought a Sony blu-ray used the same Amazon code to take $3 off the existing price tag. My theory is that they are heavily promoting Beauty and the Beast on Snow White because it is another Princess film and will create a lot of hype not only for the Blu-Ray, but also the 3D version as well. Notice how the cards used to say which release was in the Fall and Spring, but this time it just says "2010" for both films.

and yes my guess is this is true.. and i think that beauty and the beast is coming in march so that rapunzel's doll can be released in the winter instead of belle.
