DEFYING GRAVITY!!!
FINALLY! I've been dying to hear what this sounds like! Here's a 30-second preview of it!

I just wish it wasn't so slow. :/
Thoughts??

It sounds like Idina's pop version. Pretty cool, but why is the song so short!?!?!? 2:21? WTF? Do they even include the climaxes?

I'm probably going to get crap for this, but I really liked Puck and Rachel together in last night's episode. Is that weird? I don't know, I just want at least SOMEONE to get together with someone else. All this longing is killing me. I'm not sure Finn is the right guy for Rachel. Obviously they are the best singers, but Finn is kinda a push-over and not very smart. Rachel needs someone with a backbone who can stand up for himself.

I have a problem with that statement. I just don't think Finn is that great of a singer.

I agree he's not the best dancer, but I could listen to him sing all day

Ouch. What did they do to Defying Gravity? I guess, maybe, because I have listened to it so many times that I'm kinda fixed in what it should sound like. But I really don't like it that slow and I can't imagine why Rachel and Kurt would be singing this song. Maybe it'll grow on me, but for a song that I actually really really like, it's just not doing it for me.

Hot off the presses! Here’s the track list for Glee: The Music, Volume 2, all of which are from the final three episodes of the first half of season 1, which ends on December 8th.
1. Proud Mary
2. Endless Love
3. I’ll Stand By You
4. Don’t Stand So Close To Me/Young Girl
5. Crush
6. (You’re) Having My Baby
7. Lean On Me
8. Don’t Make Me Over
9. Imagine
10. True Colors
11. Jump
12. Smile (Lily Allen cover)
13. Smile (Charlie Chaplin cover)
14. And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going
15. Don’t Rain On My Parade
16. You Can’t Always Get What You Want
17. My Life Would Suck Without You
It was also recently reported that the first season would be released on DVD with all 13 episodes, but a week after it was reported, Fox picked up Glee for 9 more episodes to make it a full 22 episode season based on the success of the first three episodes, but the DVD is still being released with a minor title change. Glee: Season 1, Volume 1 – Road To Sectionals will contain all 13 episodes broadcast in 2009 and will be released on December 29th. The SRP is set to $39.99, which may be high, but you have to remember that this show has multiple songs in each episode so there’s a lot of licensing costs to go along with them.
Artwork for both is on the above website.

Oh, "Crush" and "MLWSWY"? I'm so happy to see a Kelly Clarkson song. And, of course, lots of love for David Archuleta and "Crush."

I wonder if they'll use his version of "Imagine," too?

I just really hope they make Emma's "I Could Have Danced All Night" available soon.

To shed some light on this matter: Kurt and Rachel are apparently gonna be singing this song as kind of a sing-off (is that a word

) to determine who does it better, because Kurt loves the song, but Rachel gets the solo etc.
There's a preview for the new episode on ew.com that shows this.

In this week's Target ad, it showed that there will be three exclusive songs on the soundtrack. However, I couldn't find out which three they are. Does anyone have any information on which three (perhaps I Say A Little Prayer, or something from the Acafellas episode)?

^I'm guessing Kristin Chenoweth's version of "Last Name." Since it's not on the CD.

Say a Little Prayer is a bonus track on all of the CDs, so it could be anything... the mashups, something from Acafellas, anything...

Here's the full version of Defying Gravity. Nowhere near as good as the original. This is probably the first Glee song I've been disappointed with.
