Went to Big Lots this morning to take advantage of the leftovers of all the 3 dollar movies they had. Got 3 I have been planning to get for some time!

I managed to get Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, which I know is really unpopular, but I rather like it. It's so weird! Also got the double feature animated DVD Sabrina-Friends Forever/The Groove Squad. I already had the Sabrina one on its own, but had been wanting The Groove Squad. Never seen it and it probably sucks, but I like the way DIC draws girls, ha. Their Sabrina has always been one of my bigger toon crushes. Lastly, I got The Mothman Prophecies, which might not seem very scary, but if you've read some of the accounts of the events at the time, it can be pretty darn creepy. Not so much the Mothman sightings as the other things that happened, like some of the Indrid Cold stuff that wasn't even in the film! That very name creeps me out! So, yeah, all of those were three bucks each, and they still had a couple of other movies I wouldn't mind getting, but I didn't want to go crazy since I only had 20 bucks and ended up spending half that. I have things I need to get this week. I'm a little annoyed though, because I had forgotten that there's a special edition version of Mothman Prophecies. This was the original DVD release.

I do want to ask a question about the Enchanted DVDs, if anyone can help. I am still trying to decide if I should buy the regular DVD this week (I never get any cash till the second week it seems, when the sales are over) or hold out for the Blu Ray when I actually get a Blu Ray player. I love the movie though, and I have no clue when I'll get a Blu Ray player, but probably not anytime soon. So, my question is (and this will probably be the deciding factor for me) about the Target bonus disc, are the extras on that disc also on the Blu Ray DVD? If not, then that bonus disc would be an added incentive for me to buy the regular edition. The other possibility though, is that the Blu Rays also come with the bonus disc. If that's the case, I'd appreciate that info to.

Clerks (The Animated Series): Uncensored

EDIT: A Printing Error has Disc one duplicating Disc two's content. Back to the store it goes.

Edit to the Edit:
Well I went back and the other copy had the same copy with two 'disc ones' so we switched it. But lets hope theres nothing wrong with the disc from the other set because it looked to be opened before and rewraped (wrinkled wrap and finger prints near the middle of the disc).

I was a bit naughty just now. Bought a ton of DVDs, but most of them were at nice prices. The most expensive one was Enchanted, which I just bought for 19.99 at Target before they were out of bonus discs. There weren't many with the disc left, let me tell ya.

Then, I went to a grocery store and bought 10 other DVDs ranging from 2 to 5 dollars each, brand new. Oh, well, one was 6.99: Peter Cottontail (the old Rankin/Bass one).

Paid 5 bucks for:

American Splendor

Baby-Sitter's Club (not much of a fan, but it's the film in which I discovered Rachael Leigh Cook)

Garfield: Himself

Beauty and the Beast (Cannon)

Doctor Dolittle (Rex Harrison)

and 2.50 for:

Let Sleeping Corpses Lie

Antichrist

Fear No Evil

and 2 bucks for:

A Christmas Wish

Ah, Amanda Bynes is an angel. I like the cover for this one!

I like that cover a lot better than the American one. But I actually didn't get the movie because of Amanda Bynes playing the main part but because of the scene with Colin Firth in the leather pants ding the air guitar :D
But it's really cute movie and definitely of the kind that one can watch more often.

I like the American cover, which is the one I have, but I do like this one better. :)

Regretful move my friend. Have you actually seen that movie?

Wouldn't a Disney movie be a more logical choice?

Got a the 2-Disc version of The Mist today. Somebody returned it to the store my best friend works for and because it was slightly open they couldn't put it back on the shelf so it went the the employee's only rack where she grabbed it for my for the low low price of just 1 cent.

I so wish my store had the same policy on returned goods.
