Yes, it is. But you can hardly tell. It's crystal clear.
But it's better than nothing

sorry, worth fast,i mean that flower is gay but Disney know that the perents will be angry so they change it.Ariel'sprince wrote:Disney Duster, just becouse Cinderella is a princess and a wife that dosn't mean that she has to be stargiht, she can be a lesbian wife but that dosn't matter.Disney Duster wrote:Good observations, atlanticaunderthesea! The "princess and a wife" thing does make it sound like those things are so important. Maybe being a princess is an okay ambition, but if being married is that big a goal to someone, that might not be good. Because it's not always so easy to find someone who will love you like they should and actually be good for you, and you should not depend on the love of one person to make you happy.
Still, I may have been a little harsh in my theory that Disney is pushing women to find men. If that's true, it's also true that men are pushed to find women. Ariel risks her freedom and makes a deal with a witch to be with a man (Eric), but Prince Phillip risks his life and fights a dragon to be with a woman (Aurora). It's just that all the princess stories are romance-driven. Is the reason "boy films" aren't full of romance because little boys think romance (like kissing) is icky? And if so, is it because society thinks so, or do boys really hate romance without interference from the movies and shows they watch, the games they play, or the other men/boys they see?
In The Lion King, Simba's story is about finding his place, and regaining his title, while falling in love with Nala is a small thing. But in The Little Mermaid, even though Ariel wants to be part of a different world is a huge part of the story, falling in love with Eric is just as big a part.
I never thought of it, but there's romance in many more Disney films, not just the princess ones. The difference is the princess ones are almost all about that, but the other "boy" ones give the romance a small part.
Disney explain that love is what impertant and love to a guy or a girl,it dosn't matter,Disney just don't show lesbain or homo couples so the perents won't be angry.
take Flower from Bambi:he's gay but Disney the perents willl be angry so they officialy that he's gay.
