Hey, do you think that the film will become a blockbuster as expected? It certainly has the makings of one but after I checked the release schedule for May I've realised that there is some tough competition:
Iron Man 2: 7th
Robin Hood: 14th
Shrek Forever After: 21st
Sex and the City 2: 27th
Prince of Persia: 28th
Especially the fact that the movie opens only one day after the Sex and the City 2 premieres could seriously jeopardize the film's earnings.

I wouldn't think that the same category of people would be out to see both Sex and the City 2 and Prince of Persia. Nobody in my extended family has ever been interested in Sex and the City, yet we will all see Robin Hood and Prince of Persia. The others (minus Sex and the City) can wait for DVD. I'm just glad that PoP is far away from Iron Man 2.

It is really exciting to see so much Prince of Persia stuff out there right now. I am loving those images! Gemma looks fabulous. That LA Times article was really interesting as well. Thanks for the shares! Here is a great clip to wet our appetite a bit more.

				I just went to the
Upcoming Disney DVD Releases page and look what I found:
14 The Prince of Persia: Sands of Time 2010 October 19: DVD, Blu-ray, Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo expected
October 19th?! We have a release date already?

Well, I love it! I can't wait to watch the movie in theaters in a few weeks, though! It's definitely in my top anticipated movies of this year.

I love all the coverage of the overseas premiere! Here is a great early review of the film.
Prince of Persia may be a little confusing in places but ultimately, it’s a wonderful movie with many more positives than negatives. The set design in the movie was excellent. I don’t want to repeat what I said in my Robin Hood review a couple of days ago but again, it was so nice to see money spent on original sets rather than just relying on CGI.
