What I'd like to know is when she was born (and by extension, how old she is). I've searched on IMDB and even her own website and found nothing.

I've had a quick google and haven't come up with anything either … wonder why? Guess she doesn't have to though I suppose.

bruno_wbt, can I ask you a question? I'm sure you'd know the answer to this over anyone….
Have the classic Princess songs been sung by their vocal replacements at any point? Like Tami Tappan singing 'Dreams Are A Wish' etc?

Some of the classic Princess songs have been sung by other people in some albums like in the "Disney's Karaoke Series", "and friends" series, "Songs & Story" series and some other compilations like "The Essential Disney Love Song Collection".
But almost all of them are not the official voice replacements, I can only think about
Leslie French as
Princess Aurora, which she was in the
Disney’s Princess Tea Party album and
Tiana and her Princess Friends album.
She sang
Once Upon a Dream and
I Wonder for some albums like
Sleeping Beauty and Friends,
The Essential Disney Love Song Collection,
Songs And Story: Sleeping Beauty, etc.
But other than that, the other girls singing the songs were not the official voice replacement for the princesses.
For example:
Meredith McCall did the songs from
Cinderella
Here are some of those albums with credited singers and audio samples:

Thank you so much for responding! I knew I could rely on you
Do you have the audio for Leslie French singing for Aurora?
I wonder why they had those random girls singing the Princesses theme songs over the original voice actresses or their replacements …. makes zero sense ?

Hi, I'm doing a retrospective on the princesses on my blog right now and next week, I'm covering Aurora, and I was wondering if anyone knew why Aurora didn't have a song in her Sofia The First appearance and just out of curiosity, if anyone can to point me to any recordings of Melissa Disney's Snow White VA work.

I really don't know about Aurora, but I guess it's because all the criticism she got in the
Enchanted Tales?
And what do you mean by "VA work"?
Melissa Disney did various Princess CDs as Snow White, here are some audio samples:

I think that Leslie French does a good job as Princess Aurora.

bruno_wbt kindly informed me in the Disney Infinity thread that both Anna & Elsa have been voiced by Kirsten & Idina. I think this is the first time they have voiced their characters outside the movie?
I hope its a good sign they will be as dedicated to their roles as Mandy Moore has been.
Also, in the Sleeping Beauty Diamond trailer, its been dubbed yet again … I don't think I've seen a trailer for the past 20 years or so where it hasnt been dubbed ! Is it Leslie French as Aurora in it you think ?

I was a little worried Idina Menzel wasn't going to voice the character forever; kind of the problem with hiring celebrities, imo. I hope she continues to voice Elsa (hoping she does so for Kingdom Hearts, whenever Frozen appears there...).

I thought exactly the same
Disney's Divinity, out of the two, she seems the least likely to carry on with the part. I really hope she does though !

I made myself a little mix tape for the car of Disney Princess music (I know, I know, I'm just too cool) and it really does show how the Princesses as a brand have changed.
Like, going from Ariel for example. I know it was used in The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventures, but it was subsequently rerecorded for the various Princess CDs; the track is 'In Harmony' :
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxWe-u1nwE4
It's a wonderful song, celebrating individuality and how everyone can get along.
Compared to this, 'Manners & Etiquette' from the Princess Tea Party Album:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtOp6TdGOBs
There are only a few years in between, but its just so … basic. I know I'm looking into this way too deep; but thats what the Princess are becoming - a generic, cookie cutter set of girls who are losing who they really are, and were created to be which is such a shame. You can
see Ariel's personality in 'Harmony' - she's fun and silly and wants to celebrate everything about everyone, and we can all get along as we are
supposed to be different. That, for me, is the same featured in the first film and the TV Series. The 'Manners' song could be any of the Princesses; there is nothing to show any personality from one or the other. When in the world did Ariel have a vast desire to 'hold her head errect' when she walked in to a room ?

The Ariel I know would have ran or laughed in, and would have been her usual kind of goofy self …. not this uniformly 'I AM A PRINCESS' mantra.
Heck, even Jennifer Hale had to stop voicing Aurora as she was beginning to sound too similar to her Cinderella, as she said the girls would regularly say the exact same thing, and they were beginning to merge into one.
Again, I know I've gone too deep into this, but conclusion is that the Princesses should be given their personalities back - they are, from their original films, inspiring, strong, nature and animal loving, happy, charming people - I say, bring it back! Its what these characters deserve.
And it can only serve as inspiration for the next generation of girls and boys who will be looking up to these characters.
