alright, way to make the starter of the thread feel stupid. im not sure how you would pronounce it and that's going to bother me for the rest of, like, my life. can you type it out? because seriously i'll be thinking about it all night long and then, like, not sleep.

I did You pronounce it exactly the way it's written. We have a different pronounciation for 'j' and 'o', which is why you can't pronounce it. The a sounds like the British a in 'can't'. Okay, I just pronounced it that way and it's not true. It's a slightly different a ^^
I can't even explain how to pronounce it. I think you're going to have to name your firstborn son Joran and just see what people call him. I'm sure someone will get it right.

Dottie: German people usually call me Juuran, which to me is close enough ^^ My first middle name is Hendrik, which would become Hendrick in German (a slightly different k).

I'm sorry you'll be losing sleep, Jasmine. If you're getting tired of thinking about my name, I have lots more Dutch words you'll never be able to pronounce (A) (a personal favourite of mine is 'schaar', especially when German people try to pronounce it. Some of them finally learned it, though (after literally years of training ^^)).

Maybe I can just record me saying it and upload that somewhere. At least you'll be able to sleep again

One: What is your first name? Mireille. It's a French name (from Provence, in the South). I come from Québec (French Canada) but my parents went to Provence and loved it very much so it's kind of a tribute to that, plus my mother's name is France so it fits! And it's also a name English people can't pronounce correctly, but that's okay My nickname myr_heille is just a different way to spell my name. (Wow, that was a lenghtier answer than needed I guess!)

Two: How old are you? I'm 18.

Three: Are you a guy or a gal? I'm a girl!

Four: Where do you live (in real life)? I kinda answered that earlier, oops! Québec, Canada.

Five: Physical appearance (hair/eye color) Skin white as snow, lips red as blood, and hair black as ebony. Apart from the lips part, it's not even a joke My eyes are brown with a bit of green and yellow.

Six: Sexual Orientation Straight, baby!

Seven: Favorite disney movies ever (animated and live action) It's tie between Pocahontas and Beauty and the Beast, though I have seen Pocahontas a gazillion times more, since I owned the VHS but not the BatB one.

Eight: Your current relationship status (and if you're taken, tell us about your lover! we all wanna know!) I'm going out with a wonderful boy since a year and a half. He's handsome and very talented (he's a writer with two published books - it's actually being translated in English). That's it!

Nine: Birthday March First, like Ron Weasley and Aragorn. (Wasn't that geek?)

Ten: Occupation Finishing my college degree in multimedia, it's like a mix between computer sciences and graphic arts. We even did a bit of 2D and 3D animation! I'm not so bad with 3D but I'm as lousy as can be for 2D, sadly So I'll keep on admiring and stop trying, hehe.

Well, Aragorn isn't born in our kind of time, so no for that But Ron is probably born in 1980, making him a good 8 years too old for me. Too bad! I'll stay with my current boyfriend!

I like that Prince Phillip has returned! We used to have a boatload of Princes here (Prince Adam, Prince Phillip, and Prince Eric). Nowadays it's just Prince Ali, so it's nice to have more royalty in the UD house.
