Why should it be better. Just because of PAL?
Pal has more lines and therfore obviously a higher resolution... And before this was reason enought for the R2 transfer to be a tat better, The Incredibles, Bambi, Aladdin ect.

More resolution, but some would consider the "speed-up" issue a problem.

Maybe this IS the maximum that you can get out of it. Or else the whole discussion about the restoration gone too far would start all over again,as it did with Cinderella, BatB, LatT...

Only sometimes the R2 image is better, in many other cases the R1 image is better... check this comparison for Aladdin which proves the R1 is better:

I don't know if you know this, but if you go to

I swear I heard somewhere that people were upset that the Jodi Benson 'Part of your World' music video was not on the DVD??? I've never seen it. Has anyone else?

I think it was on the end of the second VHS release. It might be somewhere on YouTube, but it's just her walking on the beach.

Maybe about twice as much!! OR EVEN MORE!!!! AS MANY AS WE CAN GET!!!
We're talking about BV. They caved in with the Alias Season sets here in Germany when they reached like 5000 signatures. At the moment we have 1012 and 677. So you see, still a long way to go.
But we appreciate every single signature that helps us get our original Ariel back!!
