She is clearly loyal (would sacrifice herself for Peter), is smokin' hot (I LOVE short blondes, redheaded mermaids too though), and playful too! If she were real, five feet tall or so, and we could do something with the wings, I'd marry her in a second!
That's what I did! Except my pixie is about 7 or 8 inches over 5 feet.
Ha, that's what I'm looking for, but shorter. Well, my pixie or my mermaid. I'm actually 5'8 myself, so I'm in the market for someone between 4'11 and 5'4

By the way, I'm buying. It means I'm double dipping.
I am rather torn between Tink and Ariel. However, I have always said that when Belle's hair is down loose, she almost rivals Ariel in beauty. Bell and Kim Possible would have to be on my second tier of hottest Disney girls. I also think Jane from Tarzan is GORGEOUS, but I don't like her voice.

It was the 2-disc French version with Return to Neverland.

Check out netty's review of the Japanese 3-disc.

The "You Can Fly" making-of is going to be on the PE? I read the review, and it's only about 15 minutes. That is terribly short for a making of. The shortest was on the SW PE, lasting about 35-40 minutes. Hopefully, a MUCH better making-of will be on the upcoming DVD (for PP that is).

I'm thinking that they'll include it along with an all-new documentary. It would be just plain lazy to call the 15-minute piece the definitive making of featurette for the DVD.

Or, hopefully, they'll supplant the featurette altogether with an entirely new one, culled from new interviews, as well as old ones from the featurette and other sources.

i've never seen peter pan at all; so i am kinda okay with it being released LOL. i like the temp cover. I wonder though, now that Beauty/Beast and Snow White releasing in 2009, if Sleeping Beauty, and the others will be alternating between the new titles of 101 Dalmations, Pinoochio, Pan and Jungle book.

If you look on the previews menu on TLM DVD, there is a different boarder around the logo that is less sharp and more appealing to my eyes. I really hope they change it to that boarder. I'm also a fan of the original font for the title from the past releases. Here is a picture of it courtesy of lighthousemike:

I love the bottom half of the cover art. I just think there is something better to be done with the upper portion. Have Peter flying or something and not so big and make Tink get off her lazy ass and strike a cool pose. She looks so boring on the cover and the only reason for this release is to shamelessly plug her own feature, so she should try to sell herself more! lol. I'm growing more accustomed to the cover art with each day, and Peter looks smaller to me today than he did 2 days ago, but he still feels to big and Tink is WAY too big. Especially compared to John, whose teddy bear overlaps the logo that Tink is sitting on...I also feel that if they keep the current picture of Pan, they should start the disolve sooner, or just not have his body continue beneath the logo. I don't like that Wendy is flying over Pan's arm.
on my TLM dvd, the previews are placed differently, on my copy peter pan is on the left bottom corner, fox and the hound 2 on bottom right, and meet the the robinsons in the middle. weird.

That's because that isn't the TLM dvd. That would be the Fox and the Hound 25 AE DVD.

My bad. I accidentally took a screen shot that Lighthousemike took from FATH instead of TLM, but both have the same logo, which I greatly prefer to the red pointed one with a new font.

Hey guys!
Disney just put up an info page for Peter Pan Platinum Ed. And although they still don't show the coverart (even though we already know what its going to look like so far), they DO post some specs from the DVD:

Here's the link.

And (for those of you too lazy to look on the link, there' the specs that Disney posted:

Camp Never Land: Explore Never Land With All-New Multilevel Games: Smee-Doku Challenge; T-"argh"-et Practice; Tink's Fantasy Flight

Peter's Playful Prank DVD Storybook

Magical Environment: Take Flight With Peter Pan Above The London Skyline

Never-Before-Seen Alternate Opening

Deleted Songs

In Walt's Words: A New Discovery! Walt Disney Reveals "Why I Made PETER PAN"

Sneak Peek At The All-New TINKER BELL Movie

And, (once again), the site posted a release of 3/6/07...
And they posted the sound as being "Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, 5.1 Disney Enhanced Home Theater Mix"

So, that sounds good to me! :D Honestly, now a days, I get really excited about any new PE coming out, being that its a new DAC that I can add to my collection! :D But I CAN'T wait for TJB...its one of my top four favorite DAC's, and its the only one (of my favorites) I don't own in ANY form...So, i'm pretty much going to be bouncing off the walls when the release for TJB comes around! (or when we get any information about the PE for that matter!) I have waited for TJB since I started collecting Disney DVD's (around when Aladdin or Bambi came out) and now it will be released in less than a year!! :D :D :D

Maybe thats because they haven't chosen the final coverart yet, they still might be voting on these three:

I'm really excited that the Disney website has now confirmed March 6th, and March doesn't seem too far away at all :D As for the Special Features, they look excellent. I CAN'T wait to see Walt Reveals: 'Why I made Peter Pan' and 'You can fly- The Making of Peter Pan.'

No Mono Version? What's with that? I'm sure Disney wouldn't dissappoint their fans by not giving the audio version that the movie was made in. AhemTLMAhem!

I agree, those bonus features sound like they are going to be great. The interviews from the past (and present) on the film along with the making-of portions are always the best part. To tell the truth "Peter Pan" has never been one of m favorite Disney movies (althugh I do enjoy it), which is why I am SO excited that it is coming to Platinum Edition. The great thing about Platinum Editions is you learn more about the fim (the process, the making, the animators, the concepts etc.) and it really makes you appreciate the film a lot more. So for me, the fact that "Peter Pan" isn't one of my favorites, makes me anticipate the Platinum Edition even more!!
