Rewatched a lot of the Friday the 13th boxset features (I'm a little disappointed). Then, watched more trailers. Watched the Naked Lunch bonus disc documentary, Naked Making Lunch... it wasn't very interesting. It didn't even discuss the movie much, it was mostly just a lot of little pieces of information, with illustrations and interviews that often seemed a little pointless. Listened to the audio commentaries on the Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives and Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, both were fairly good compared to Rob Hedden's dry recapping of part VIII's entire film story.

Well, I watched some of the bonus features from the Alice in Wonderland ME, particularily the "I'm Odd" song demo. I thought it was cute, but I liked the version actually in the film a WHOLE lot better. I also viewed the galleries for both Alice and Sword in the Stone. And all I can say is...wow. That's a lot of concept drawings/photos/sketches!!

I watched my bonus disc of Cars last night. It was very informative how they got a lot of the ideas for the film and the designs of the cars.

Watched the original trailers for lady and the tramp on the platnium edition dvd. Amazing how much movie trailers have changed since the 50s (Even though I was born in 1988)

I watched the Bonus features of Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition, as I wanted to watch the Pixar short 'Geri's Game'...but I never found it, is it even on the Toy Story DVD? Or is it linked to another Pixar Movie?
Anyway, it was interesting to see the first CGI Animated movie come to life.

Thanks heaps MM1! I'm gonna go put my Bug's Life DVD on now

The reason I was looking for it was I was in Polls and Games the other day and Geri's Game was winning best Pixar short and I don't really recall seeing it.

Graham Lineham's solo commentary on all 6 episodes of The IT Crowd. Now some of you may remember this sit-com prompting my
The traditional studio sit-com is dead thread. Still, I bought the DVD!
But this is a wonderful commentary. Lineham addresses all of my complaints about the series - from the audience laughter and the stagy acting to the fact that the show is a bit "shouty". Each and every critisism is either dismissed with justification or sometimes he actually agrees. He even says series one was more of a draft of what he wanted the series to be, and series two will be better. (He drops lots of hints about series 2 - which is 8 episodes and he has been helped out by Arthur Matthews - his
Father Ted co-writer - for story ideas).
The IT Crowd isn't a bad sit-com, its just super-disappointing after the Lineham scripted
Father Ted and
Black Books (Series 1 only), plus Lineham was the co-creator of
Big Train one of the best sketch shows ever on TV. What's interesting is the only episode I thought really worked well (the second one, about the shoes) was one Lineham himself was unhappy with when writing. It really is a facinating commentary, and it held my attention throughout the whole 3 hours.
Each episode, in addition to the solo commentary, also has a Lineham and Cast commentary, so I'll be listening to them in the coming week.
