I enjoyed tonight’s episode. I’m interested by where the plot’s going for now. I like that there’s more to the Snow Queen character than I would’ve guessed. I guessed she might be Elsa’s aunt (which I’m also guessing means she lied about Anna putting Elsa in the urn to teach her another “lesson”), but I didn’t expect her to somehow be connected to Emma and Rumpel. Plus, I like how she’s more apathetic to the town than the previous villains.

Calling it right now:
The Snow Queen is actually Anna (who's possessed) in disguise.

I don't think Hans is gone for good. That'd be a waste of a major character.
EDIT: And the actor just tweeted this after asking if
Hans will return[
@TylerJacobMoore
@_King_Hans_ I guess you will have to stay tuned to find out

Let me just say this: as a gay man I have never understood a woman's obsession with having large breasts until tonight. Elizabeth Mitchell's breasts made that dress. Allow me to be stereotypical as I say "Gurl worked it OUT!"

That's possible, but I don't think so. All the flashback stuff that happened in this episode seems to have taken place at the same time as the flashbacks in the previous episode. So we already know where Anna was when all this stuff with Hans and the Snow Queen was happening: she was with David (whose fairytale name appearantly is also David). So unless Anna/Snow Queen can be at two places at the same time, I'm not sure they're the same person. However, it is possible Anna was absorbed by Snow Queen at a later time, so maybe in the present they are the same person.
My own guess is that Snow Queen was betrayed by her own sister and put in that urn by her. So now she doesn't trust her own family anymore and wants to save Elsa from also getting betrayed by Anna. We already know Snow Queen likes to 'teach Elsa a lesson', so maybe she manipulated Elsa into thinking Anna had betrayed her to teach her a lesson and because Elsa knew how painful those memories were she asked the trolls to take them away and put her into that urn.
Anna then tried to save Elsa so Snow Queen made a deal with Rumple to keep both Anna and Elsa seperated.
I guess we'll watch to find out..
Elizabeth Mitchell has also confirmed they're about to shoot the final episode of the arc and that the Snow Queen still doesn't have a name. So I guess we're stuck having to refer to her as 'The Snow Queen'.
She also said that Snow Queen doesn't know she's a villain. Like Regina, she has a reason for being the way she is only, unlike Regina (and other villains like Peter Pan and Zelena), she doesn't think of herself as wicked or evil. She's just doing what she thinks is right.
So, kind of like the Snow Queen in the original fairytale.

Anna went to Rumple in the previews. Maybe he trapped her in an urn. How can anyone trust him after he took Cinderella's first born child I think he did.

the actor for Hans is awesome, totally nailed him. I hope thats not the last we see of him. And his brothers are abusive tools so we can see why he is that way himself.
The Snow Queen is their best villain in a while, couldnt stand Peter Pan & Zelena...

This is why I like her. Although I wasn't feeling the actress they cast, I'm glad they have a more ambivalent villain like this. I think all their villains are pretty different, actually, which I enjoy. Pan didn't care about anything but himself, whereas Zelena was more insecure and bitter. Rumpel is accepting of his evil side, while Regina is damaged, addicted, overemotional, and straight-up crazy (a lot of the time). And Cora was all about her own ambitions. An interesting array of antagonists, imo.

WAIT A MINUTE:
"If the Dark One is killed without the use of the dagger, he or she will expel the powers of the Dark One into the air after death without anyone else being next in line to inherit it, therefore ending the curse."
DOES ANNA TURN EVIL?!?!

Thoughts on the latest episode:
In short, Yay Frozen, Nay Once Upon A Time.
I absolutely loved the stuff with Frozen, but I did have some problems with the episode.
1. Elsa really needs to start acting like a queen. This episode made her look like an amateur. Even with Kristoff. If you wouldn't send her to an unknown journey, then don't send her to a place that has the item to destroy her.
2. The whole "This episode will be about Elsa learning to trust Kristoff" thing was really stupid and the moment she said "My friend" I started laughing.
3. The Snow Queen's appearance was really something. She's a facilitating character and really seems evil. I'm excited to see where her character goes. I have a feeling that she isn't Elsa's aunt and that she's been lying to her. I really hope that the trolls actually do something here.... If you have a magical encyclopedia in your kingdom, you better make sure you use it!
4. Hans was really well portrayed.. And I loved his speech to Elsa before opening the Urn, I especially love the fact that she started crying. Great acting!
5. The episode did a phenomenal job teasing us with many of the mysteries. I think that Elsa was possessed by something and the only way to save her was to trap her in the urn.
6. The storybrook part.... was horrible....
The whole Snow White storyline is absolutely pointless and a waste of screen time. it had nothing to do with the episode in general. Making her Mayor was really stupid. We don't need more story lines in this already plot heavy season. The towns people are just really annoying... And Emma's storyline is also really unnecessary. The only reason why Hook is on this show is for fan service.
I think this season has a lot of potential, but they really need to slow down with the plots. Half of the plots are really pointless and the other half is really interesting. They need to commit to one big plot only. They also need to get their tone straight. Is this going to be a kid's show or a grown up's show?
Better than the last episode... I think this might be the best episode that we've had this season.. but it's not the best that they can do! I'm anxiously waiting for the big reveal!

Anyone else, how did Emma get her powers back after Hook's kiss took them?
Thanks for trying to help Divinity.
So it's not that Elsa is not the real Snow Queen. It's just that there are two Snow Queens.
taei, they need to keep us knowing what's up with the other important/main characters like Snow White and the other big figures in Storybrooke. They deserve attention too, they are the main parts of the show! And especially Emma, why you ignore her storyline when she is now connected to The Snow Queen is baffling.

When are the fairy tale characters going to go back through the enchanted forest to their kingdoms why are they staying in Storybooke?
Anna better not get suckered by rumple he interfered with Cinderella's fairy godmother and took Cinderella's first born I think he took her child.
I swear Elas's dress is going to catch on something and make her fall and hurt herself there is soo much of it dragging behind her.

Hulu Plus is a great alternative to buying any box set seasons of Once or any other show currently out there. It's my go to for many show such as Gotham, Arrow, Flash, Agent's of Shield, Law and Order SVU, Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal even Once Upon a Time and tons more and it's only $7.99 a month. It saves me from having to worry about if I missed an episode of Once because I can watch it the next day. It also has the previous season of Once Upon a Time all the way to the first episode. I binged watched Once to get to season 2 and in the process my dad is now a fan of the show.

I went to Wikipedia to read the synopsis for the last episode. Read the third-to-last paragraph
in the story section.

bradhig: Emma makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin to save Cinderella's child.
