I liked the episode for the most part. I'm surprised they showed the snow queen so early--I figured we wouldn't see anything of her until episode 3 or 4. I love the actor they've got for Elsa, and her interaction with Emma was really nice.

Btw, I'm kind of in love with the fact that they've made Snow the mayor now. That character hasn't really been powerful in the Storybrooke side of things, so I'm glad they're letting her have that role.

The Bo Peep stuff... rotfl

I haven't heard anything about it, but I hope it's true for UK fans. I wouldn't be surprised if they decided to take it on again with the ratings up.

I thought Elsa was the Snow Queen.

Urrr, spoilers, maybe.

At the end of the recent episode, we see another Snow Queen who runs an ice cream shop. (Her merchandise wasn't spoiled during the black out, because she had magic.) Now, this Snow Queen looks a lot like the Andersen fairytale Snow Queen. Kinda sorta like this. And this Snow Queen is bad, and wants to blame Elsa the Snow Queen for magic happenings.

So yeah, they're going for double trouble. How is this possible? They same way the family tree in the show grows, I suppose. (So many branches to the same tree...)

Here's a scene that was cut from last nights Once Upon a Time that apparently aired on Good Morning America. It's between Regina and Snow and it's really awesome

Not exactly. Elsa isn't any trouble now, I'm guessing, except maybe for Rumpelstiltskin. Personally, I'm enjoying the fact that they're doing the Disney film while also recognizing the character differences between it and the original tale.

Bo Peep was hit and miss for me. I was like "Okay, another 'good guy' gone completely sour". Regina's just going in circles at this point. Rumple doesn't look like he's completely relapsing into evil, at least.

It's realistic to have relapses, but the point is to keep people interested in the characters.

I sincerely hope so; I wonder if she was talking with a bit of insider knowledge, as it certainly doesn't seem to be the case online ? :?

Yea!

In the Disney film Frozen she's supposed to be, but for Once Upon a Time they're differentiating between Elsa and the Snow Queen that is closer to the original fairy tale.

Once upon a time, there was a remote...

Once upon a time, there were hundreds of other channels to turn to...

Once upon a time, there were thousands of other threads to post in about things one actually cares about...

You obviously don't like the show. So why don't you stop watching it? :) I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but personally, if I don't like a show anymore I stop watching it. I used to like Glee but since I didn't like way the show was heading I stopped watching it a couple of seasons back. Maybe you should do the same thing with OUAT, since you're obviously not enjoying the show. There are a lot of other shows out there which you'll maybe like better and are more deserving of your time :)

Again, I'm not trying to attack you or something like that, I'm just giving you a friendly suggestion.

In the movie she is. Her character is based on the Snow Queen from Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale of the same name. However, in the promotional material for Once Upon A Time they keep referring to Elsa as 'The Ice Queen' and since Elizabeth Mitchell is confirmed to play 'The Snow Queen', my guess is the Snow Queen and Elsa are two different characters in the show, with Mitchell playing Andersen's original (evil) Snow Queen.

LOL! I did the same thing with Glee. I will stop watching a show when it becomes so incredibly bad that I just can't stand watching it.
I watch Once Upon A time for 3 reasons:
1. I'm interested in seeing where the Frozen storyline goes.
2. It's one of the few shows that my friend watches, so i talk to them about it.
3. I like to see how bad the writing can get :D

I do want to apologize to people if I'm bashing the show for them. I don't mean to hurt you.
I'll keep my comments on the low side

I do feel so sorry for Ginnifer; there a lot of comments on the Once Facebook page for this weeks preview talking about her weight. Some don't seem to realise she really did have a baby ? But others are supporting her as well though, which is nice to see. She's said herself she's loosing weight the healthy way, and acknowledges she 'doesn't look like Snow' at the moment, hence why we wont see Bandit Snow for a while.

I personally like the fact that she still has baby weight. It always annoys me when women on TV shows give birth and go right back to being a size two the next week. It makes her feel more real in way. Kudos to Ginnifer for not being all crazy work out and diet obsessed post baby. I was honestly surprised to see her back to work so soon. Kinda expected a missing Snow White for the first few episodes.

I agree, I liked that she looks like a new mother. I'm sure she'll lose weight (and if she doesn't, why is it that big of a deal...?). Besides, Snow White was the most beautiful because of her personality and not really her looks, so it fits the character to care more about enjoying motherhood rather than obsessing over a waistline.

I know, I couldn't agree with you guys more, there isn't any need for her to immediately snap back into what she was before. And it's extremely positive to show a new mother actually looking like a new mother. I just hope she doesn't let the comments, if she sees them, get her down.

Appearantly, this was just confirmed at the NYCC Panel Screening. It's a spoiler about Elizabeth Mitchell's Snow Queen.

The Snow Queen is Elsa and Anna's aunt! This also explains why Elsa has powers: it runs in the family.

I kind of saw this coming but I'm excited to see how it'll play out.

That would explain spoilers I had read of Elisabeth Mitchell filming in a flashback scene on a ship in a storm with another woman, both dressed in royal-looking clothes. I'm guessing she was on the ship their parents died on--if they died.

I forget, can someone remind me how Emma got her powers back after Hook's kiss took them away?

I can't remember completely--still need to re-watch the third season--but I believe it was Regina's True Love's Kiss that wiped the curse away.

Yeah, until it devolves into trolling.
