New Disney Princess icon collection comes to WDW

I feel like within the past ten years, the DP franchise has sort of divided into one side that is marketed towards children and one side that is marketed towards adults (specifically, the adult Millennials and Gen Zers who were the first group of kids to have the DP franchise marketed at them). I think this new collection reflects that.

Does anybody exploit nostalgia better than Disney?

I think they’re overlooking their adult gay male fans who would appreciate Princess merch.
I have Cinderella, Aurora and Belle sweatshirts that I bought years ago from the Disney Catalogue that I still wear today on chilly/cold days...

I honestly wouldn't buy this kind of stuff. I want real Disney Princess merchandise, colorful merchandise with all the characters and very "girly" not this minimalist things that they are making right know. It give me more Victoria Secret vibes than Disney's.

They did something similar a few years ago. I bought a sweater with Snow, Mulan, Ariel and Belle in a pop art style. Artworks were different.

New Disney Princess products featuring a style for the princesses that adheres more closely to their movie look. It's also interesting that now princesses of color are featured more prominently.

Why isn’t Snow White included in any of that?

To be honest, I only liked the first picture. The following pictures were bland and underwhelming.

Yes. It's odd they're singling out Belle now by featuring her with her peasant outfit without doing the same for other princesses like Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, and Tiana all of whom have commoner or less flashy dresses.

They actually offered some to Snow White, but all they had left was apple fritters, so she turned it down.

They’re having an office potluck and Rapunzel is the only one brave enough to dig in first.
