Maybe it's already been said, but I guess they're still not going to reveal the Beast his name in this version of the tale? Because they keep calling Beast in his human form 'The prince'.

Josh Groban has joined the soundtrack with a version of "For Evermore" (wasn't this retitled as How Does a Moment Last Forever?)

Great news. I'm glad him, Celine, and John Legend are all involved. I don't mind Ariana myself, but she does seem like an odd choice in a way.

According to the source below, the running time will be 2 hrs 9 mins, which will make it the longest of the live action remakes. It makes sense because this will be the first one that's a musical, with about 14 songs not counting the end credits.

The song that was retitled as "How Does a Moment Last Forever" is "Our Song Lives On". This is one of the other two new songs.
So they have announced a new version of "Beauty and the Beast" with John Legend and Ariana Grande, a version of "How Does a Moment Last Forever" sung by Celine Dion, and now this one. Aren't there too many songs for the end credits? Maybe one of them will be only on the CD.
Here are images of Emma Watson from a pair of books from the film:

I think Dan looked good as the Prince on the poster. Quite attractive and handsome.

It's like... they have some algorithm to make me have to watch this movie.
Damn it, I liked that trailer. I will probably see this in theaters. #IPlayedTheBeastOnceinMiddleSchool

Wow, that trailer (and Vlad was right that we got this one after the others!) really did make a case for me to think this movie will be really good. I hate Belle's flower dress and her yellow dress and the library but really just about everything else looks perfect. The Beast has personality filled expressions and Belle plans to escape and knows the Beast has a human soul in him and the passage of time looks sorted out. Count me in as very excited!

I love that trailer so much, it's so beautiful. Emma Watson is perfect, no matter what anyone says (she is perfect, in my opinion). The CGI looks fantastic, and the costumes and sets look amazing, too. I'm really excited about this.

I guess the latter trio must be the Bimbettes, right?

Yes, they must be them. And finally a look at the enchantress in her old beggar woman form.

Regarding the new trailer, the fact that Belle now knows about the enchantment is a big change from the original film, isn't it?

Yes it is a big change. And I feel it may be a good change. It makes it a little less...bestiality-like.
And I'm glad the Bimbettes won't be blonde, as that is a stereotype., and also they have brown hair like Belle so it isn't saying dark hair is evil, either.
I wish the enchantress was a little uglier in her beggar form but she still doesn't look like something the prince wants in his castle.
You know, one time when I watched the trailer and it was near the end where the Beast looks at Bell on the spires of the castle, it gave me the feelings to almost cry.
The yellow dress I don't hate that much now. It seems to fit. I just...wish it was more like the one design I made for it. Or just something like the original but also more historically accurate at the same time.
And Emma Watson does seem like a good Belle. I liked her in this trailer better than in the past ones. Hm. We'll have to see how she is in the final film.

This video is a must-see:
a comparison between the old and the new movie based on the new trailer.
The new trailer itself is gorgeous, amazing, and I love Ariana Grandes voice for the title song. Very suiting.

Well, to cite my thoughts about the trailer. It was certainly good. It's certainly that this version is made with a care of intelligence, as the comment of Belle being too ahead of her era and that she'll escape the castle-whispering to her father. However, I'm torn about the setting; I liked the architecture of the village, yet some scenes of it did come across as Pirates of the Caribbean-esque. The setting of the castle is fine, but the rest is just meh. Both Be Our Guest and the dance at the ball seems almost straight out of it's animated counterpart, but I consider it to be a good thing.. I think Luke Evans makes a good Gaston, due to him having the right look and physique to it. And the arrogance.
However, I must say that I'm a little concerned about the servants. Though I never was too crazy about them in the animated film, I have a feeling that they'll be duller on this version.
