Yep, especially for those who don't have a copy yet - like me!

Well, I don't want to brag, but I got mine long ago!

Yeah, I just started upgrading my collection. Believe it or not, I didn't have one single DAC on DVD, just all but a few of them that were available on VHS. Now with the Blu/DVD combo packs, I figured there's no better time than now!

JustOneBite87 said on "Say What? ~ The Missheard Disney Dialogue Thread!" that the audio mistake has been corrected. That poster called the Disc Replacement service and they sent a disc with the correct audio. JustOneBite87 also bought a Blu-ray copy, and that also had the missing lines.

Where do I go to replace the disc?

So when you call them, do they know what you're talking about [with the missing audio] or do you have to explain it to them?

I have not done any of this myself. JustOneBite87 said he/she explained it to the operator and they sent him/her a new disc free of charge. That's the rest of what I know.

Seriously, did you guys not know that the audio issue had been corrected on the American release? I would have posted about it months and months ago had I known!

Explain the audio issue to whoever you speak with. The woman who I spoke with seemed to know what I was talking about, but I cannot be sure. They WILL ask that you send your old disc in just FYI as proof. Otherwise you will definitely be charged the regular fee of replacing a damaged disc.

ive known about it since i first bought it but i didn;'t think it would be possible for me to do anything since im an international buyer..but i msgd the website nonetheless in case i might get lucky. if its even possible i hope they could correct the slight misalignment of audio in sleeping beauty.a few music cues r missing and one is off by a milisecond.

Only in the special home theater mix, right? Not the original soundtrack?

Is that the same for Pinocchio? The lines are only missing in the special home theater mix, not the original soundtrack?

On my copy of Pinocchio, the missing diologue is also missing from the "Original Theatrical" mono mix as well. And it's missing from the subtitle track.

i hardly listen to original mono tracks. i'll check sleeping beauty again. i thought i read somewhere that pinocchio's mono track is actually the 5.1/7.1 monoized. so it should be the same.

At which point exactly during the film does the missing audio occur? I'd read about it before I got my copy recently, but in watching I didn't notice anything.

I don't need an exact frame or time or anything, but what scene is it?

two brief bytes of dialog during "give a little whistle".

Once I get my checks, I will write one out and send it in with the disc. Would I have to send the whole blu-ray in or just disc one?

I just got off the phone with WDHE and I was told the dialogue is missing in "this release" but there is no replacement for it! What's up with that? Anybody else told this?

Wait, so there is a couple pieces of missing dialogue? Damn, maybe I should give WDHE a call. I just hope they're actually doing the exchange, as it looks like they gave jsz1002 trouble.

I didn't notice anything for both.

Do you still have to pay the $6.95 for a new disc even though this is their fault?

Are there any other movies that are missing something? I'll go ahead and take care of all of them in one phone call.
