Looks like this film will be a big hit, being a Disney princess movie and all. Too bad it looks like in the style of the CAPs films rather than having a more organic look. This isn't a CAPs film is it?
Umm.... okay. I'm not sure what you mean about the organic bit. :?

I'm guessing he's talking about the film looking more like it was hand painted rather than digitally inked.

Thank you so much for the HQ video. It was a nice glimpse of the movie. Did my instructions help at all? By the way, it’s not a pillow what young Tiana is holding. It’s a piece of paper (that probably is a drawing of her dreams). I told you that before, but it seems you weren't paying attention.

I'm sorry to make it seem like I was ignoring you. I was essentially copy and pasting the same information over from another site and didn't take the time to personalize it. I'm eagerly anticipating this film and am somewhat of a crusader for it (can't think of a less geeky word) - always excited to share new information. But to save time, it's a lot of copypasta work.

It was nothing personal.

You are right. I realize now it is not a pillow.

Someone else posted the HQ video on YouTube. They did it before I could attempt to do it myself through your how-to. But thank you for explaining that to me and I will try it at the next opportunity.

It's OK. I wasn't offended or anything. :)

That's good. We need someone to attend to all of our Frog needs! :P

You're welcome. And just finding and posting the link was more than enough. Thanks again!

Yes, it works now. I don't like the character design of the prince. It reminds me too much of Edward. I just cannot stand that arrogant smirk on his face.

OK much better now.

Did anyone notice that the frog in the "View" clip was different from the frog in the teaser?

All 2D animated movies produced recently are CAPS. Doesn't remove *much* of the artistic quality, though.

I thought CAPS has been used since "The Rescuers Down Under" and CGI elements since "The Great Mouse Detective".

How great is this news? I like the new release date! Sounds really good. On the one hand, I don't like PatF avoiding competition with that terrible Alvin and the Chipmunks film or Sherlock Holmes for that matter. (Don't think Sherlock would have been a big threat to be honest but Chipmunks might have been because some people are blind so it's a good move). It's only competition now is The Lovely Bones, which I actually read. Decent novel but it's depressing and who wants to go watch a depressing film so near Christmas and without their family members? I'm sure it'll be rated PG-13 at least. PatF will dominate that weekend! Very smart move by Disney, finally!

I was thinking either move it to December 18th, against Avatar where it would have the upper hand on Chipmunks or December 11th so it's good to see that Lasseter has the marketing team actually thinking about the timing.

Bolt should have stayed in its Thanksgiving spot instead of trying to compete with Twilight. We all know which is the better film but some people ruined its chance of success.

Look closely.

The frog's face in the new clip is more detailed. The frog in the teaser has basic looking shading and eyes.

The frog in the new clip looks closer to the design of Prince Naveen than in the teaser.

Actually, I thought The Black Cauldron was the first Disney movie to use elements of CGI? :?

As for the frog, his slightly new design actually kind of reminded me of the from from The Swan Princess.

By the way, sotiris2006? Where'd you get that neat icon? :)

One more thing, concerning two of those new pics.....

If John Smith is in the princes picture, then why isn't Pocahontas in opposite? Heck, shouldn't Snow White's prince be in the prince group, too? :?

Maybe that's the point of his character? That he starts as an unlikable prince who doesn't see anything redeeming in Tiana till he becomes a frog?

Maybe the two of them being turned into frogs is the thing that humbles his character and true love between them grows.

Ok, when you view an online video that file is stored in your Temporary Files. Go to Tools, select Internet Options ->General, Browsing History->Settings-> Temporary Internet Files and History Settings->View Files. There you scroll down and identify the video you want and then you drag and drop it on your desktop. It usually is in an flv format (but i'm not sure). If your player or youtube uploading cannot support flv you can convert it via relevant programs found on the site download.com

Hope that helps...
its on Neal's DVR. Not his computer. I too would love to be able to easily transfer shows/clips from my DVR to me PC, but it doesnt seem possible unless you have a tivo or know how to hack it. some models are easier than others. I think I could do it if I had a way to capture through HDMI, but my capture box doesnt have any of those inputs.
