Good news! Frozen was supposed to be released on December 5th in Israel and now the theaters informed that Frozen will be out on the same date as the US release.

So... Not sure if anyone would know the answer to this question, but--is there going to be a Deluxe version of the soundtrack for this? I'm wondering if Disney has simply changed the way they're doing soundtracks in general. B&tB 2017, Moana, and the original Frozen all got Deluxe versions, but Aladdin 2019 did not. I just want to know if there's going to be a Deluxe before I pre-order anything?

That's great to hear. Especially for a spoilery film like this.

According to the press release for the soundtrack, there will be a digital deluxe edition on November 15. However, I wasn't able to find a link to pre-order it yet.
The "Frozen 2" vinyl cast songs soundtrack, "Frozen 2" score album and "Frozen 2" digital deluxe soundtrack are also available on Nov. 15.

Thank you so much for answering!

I think I'll get the standard, physical album then. I can buy the score later on, I suppose, if it's digital-only anyway. I guess I should've expected that, if Disney is moving away from physical releases for their films, no doubt they'll do the same with their music releases slowly but surely.

Every Friday on Twitter, the cast will talk about a memory from making the first movie. Josh and Jonathan bursting into tears at the end is so so sweet.

That's great! I'm glad for you. In Spain (unless they change it) it's going to be released on the same day as well, which is actually a bit unusual.
There's a lot of new footage in that TV spot!

Nara Youn, a Disney animator,
revealed on Instagram that there will be a post-credits scene. I think it's safe to say
that's when Hans will make an appearance which means his scene won't be a flashback.

That could be, although the post-credits scene for the first film wasn't really consequential so this one might not be either.

No, thanks. I don't know what they were thinking with this rendition. Neither the arrangement nor the male vocals suit the song. I'm going to stick with the movie version.

I really want to listen, but I don't want to ruin the experience of seeing / hearing it all first time in the theaters. Must resist! I hope I like it better than you, Sotiris, since I was looking forward to Urie's rendition. Hard to imagine he could be worse than Demi Lovato at any rate.

My thoughts! And from that preview, it literally sounds like the instrumental version of the original song and Brandon is rushing through it. That took away my desire from listening to the whole thing.

After watching it a few times, I really admire how different "Into the Unknown" is in comparison to "Let it Go". The latter feels like a power song and staged as such whereas the former is most certainly in the vein of a classic Disney "I Want" song. Honestly I like the rhythm and orchestrations of "Into the Unknown" better in comparison where "Let it Go" wins mostly on a visual standpoint.
Still I am so excited for the 22nd!
