Watched the Black Cauldron today . Actually the first time I ever saw the whole movie, and I really like it. It's not Disney-like, but more Don-Bluth-like. But still I like Don Bluth and the story of BC is amazing. I wanna read the books now!!

Let's see, what have I seen recently?

Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3-D - A very cool experience

Hocus Pocus - My all-time favorite Halloween movie... an annual must.

Parts of The Addams Family - It's too bad I didn't have time to watch all of it or the sequels this year.

Thank You For Smoking - Not laugh-out-loud hilarious, but funny, and it makes a well-taken point, even if it's not a very daring point and not all that intelligently made.

Life Is Beautiful - An absolutely amazing film. Brilliantly acted, wonderfully written, very touching. What a unique way to tell the Holocaust story... and from the perspective of Italian Jews, too. That side isn't told as much. Very glad to have seen it.

And I watched a lot of Goldeneye on TV today.

In anticipation of Cars coming out I watched Toy Story Friday night. It's one of the best Pixar films ever made and it still holds up nicely to this date.

As a family we watched Eight Below again, and I still jump out of my skin when that Leopard Seal comes out of the whale carcass. A really good movie and, yes, I cried most of the way through it.

I watched part of The Sword in the Stone that I just got from Best Buy. I hope they don't re-release it soon.

Saw Borat at the theatres today. i must say that I never really laughed that much at a movie. There were some gross-out scenes of course, but it was still funny. 4/5

Monster House - have to say I was pretty dissapointed it looked great in the previews but in reality...

Like, Sequel, I watched Sword in the Stone. The video quality is pretty good, but it's almost too sketchy for my liking. Overall, I thought it was worth the $7.

And not to mention, I love Archimedes!! He's hilarious!!

I also watched Alice in Wonderland: Masterpiece Ed. WOW! It has an amazing restoration!! I loved all of the bright colors! (which really contrasted to SitS, by the way!)

Saving Private Ryan - I said it once and I'll say it again... Best War Movie Ever!!! Mainly because of the Normandy scene which was the most historically accurate scene. Also with Veteran's day approaching I took it upon myself to watch it to see what these men did for our freedom.

Am I the only one who will say that we watched nothing else but Cars yesterday. We watched it three times and as I am typing this it is on again for the second time this morning. What a great movie for the grandkids to watch. They really love it!!!!!

Watched my dvd of Cars yesterday. The picture and sound were excellent, but the features were pretty light. Both shorts were great to watch, and the bonus dvd was entertaining.

I watched my DVD of Snoopy Come Home I always liked this movie as a kid. i would always watch it on a recorded tape that also had disney shorts on it.

I just finished watching Dead Poets Society and it was amazing. It was so very inspirational, emotional and it just completely blew me away.
