it is THAT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't believe it...
it's so funny and then also makes you cry like a baby,
Pixar really outdone itself ...
Yes! Another good review!
Should I see it....regular, 3D, or IMAX 3D? I've never ever watched a movie in IMAX 3D before. I remember IMAX did not really make a difference for me when I watched Happy Feet. I need others' opinions on this! My first viewing of Toy Story 3 has to go perfect! :3

i see lot's of this kind of discussion in taiwan's forums
some said the 3D isn't that impressive,
but what more people talked about is,
when the story and the movie is VERY VERY good,
you actually just don't care about it is in 3D or not!!
and this is exactly how i felt about it,
i totally didn't care!!!

I still don't remember what happened to my movie money.
So far, the last time I checked RottenTomatoes, 12 critics gave it a FRESH rating (100%), so it may be on par with the first two. I cannot wait to see it.

23 fresh, 100%.
Impressive. This trilogy is going out with a bang. And if the reviews are to be believed, the ending will make us cry.

Regular ole 2D all the way for me. So ready for the 3D fad to go away. There's nothing fun or interesting about it if everything is in 3D.

My town's only theatre will be playing Toy Story 3 in 3D only for the next three weeks, so I've got no choice but to watch it in 3D... Which doesn't work properly for me and gives me a headache... not to mention it costs 4 bucks extra (12.99 a ticket plus 15% tax).
I really really hate this 3D thing. Too bad it looks like it's here to stay for awhile.

I thought the first two Toy Stories looked amazing in 3-D, when I saw the Double Feature last October, so I'm going the 3-D route here. I'm completely supportive of 3-D as long as it's not added in later (i.e. Alice in Wonderland).

My main reason for seeing this movie in 3D, more then anything, is to see the accompanying short Night & Day in 3D. From what people have said and the way the director's advertising it, that's the way it should be experienced.
I haven't been keeping up with this thread but has anyone confirmed if there will be a teaser for Cars 2 attached to this movie or if that tradition died with WALL·E and UP? I used to look forward to seeing the exclusive teasers they would make for their upcoming projects as much as the shorts and the movies themselves.

Since a Cars 2 teaser hasn't been released online yet (usually, the new Pixar teasers are released a couple of days before the release date), I assume we're just getting the Tangled teaser, just like Wall-E only had the Bolt trailer.
I guess we should expect it to premiere before Tangled or maybe the Toy Story 3 DVD release.

Roger Ebert give his review on Toy Story 3 and... he likes it!

I'm not sure if I want to see this in 3D or not. Last time I saw a film in 3D (Up) I ended up feeling dizzy and got a headache. That wasn't the first time that happened after watching a film in 3D.
I'd hate to think I'd be missing out though. (i.e Day & Night in 3D)

saw it today. it was good, okay, touching.
tangled trailer didnt play at the beginning.
day n night was boring.
the movie was fun altho it felt a bit long. it was a good closure. i enjoyed the antics of woody, barbie, ken and the potatoes.there were a few surprises and its sad that not all of andy's toys r there for the ride...im talking bout the less important toys..

there were some rehash formulas but its got a good twist.
now enough with sequels disney/pixar, bring on new stories.
3.5 / 5

I've decided to watch it in 2D! I thought, that's how I saw Toy Story 1 and 2, that will be how I see Toy Story 3. Thanks for your help guys! It helps when mostly everyone here does not like 3D
I'm so excited! I will dodge this thread until tomorrow though, I don't want to be spoiled!

I bought myself and My girlfriend tickets to see it at midnight in 2-D mainly because the local theater doesn't have 3D but I will take my dad and my girlfriend to see it in 3D in July as my girlfriend has never seen a movie in 3D before and she's never been to a midnight movie...
