89% want to see Frozen. I wonder if that number would still be the same if the title were The Snow Queen.Polizzi wrote:http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/frozen_2013/

Frozen has been in and out of work four or five years at least. It was killed as a hand-drawn project, then resurrected as a c.g. fairy tale after Tangled's success. Plus, J.L. liked one of Frozen's later scripts so it moved up in line.
Other way around, IMO. I love "When Will My Life Begin"DisneyJedi wrote:Let me explain to you my opinions on The Princess and the Frog and Tangled in terms of their music. I always saw Alan Menken's music as stronger than Randy Newman's music in most films. Ironically, it's the other way around for Disney's two recent animated films.
Besides the reprise of Mother Knows Best (Reprise) and I See The Light, I wasn't that engaged with a lot of the songs in Tangled. Plus, The Princess and the Frog's music has a bit more of a toe-tapping feel to it and seemed a bit more engaging. Besides, Randy seemed like a more ideal choice for The Princess and the Frog IMO.
But I digress. If they do get Alan Menken to do the songs for this movie, they should bring Stephen Schwartz on board as well, not that I hold a bias against Glenn Slater.
Agreed, When Will My Life Begin is awesome! My favorite song from the movie. Mother Knows Best and I See The Light are also good songs IMO. And I also like The Reprise versions. Don't care that much for I've Got A Dream though.ajmrowland wrote:Other way around, IMO. That's hilarious out of context.King of the Elves has been up and down the May pole multiple times.

Like for instance, the entire layout department is on WIR at the moment, with one lonely artist on Frozen. (First things first, I say.)

I'd read discussion about Kai and Gerda from the original fairytale, but I wasn't sure if the names above had already been discussed.Kristen Bell will costar as Anna, a young girl who ventures to find Menzel’s Snow Queen and end the perpetual winter that has fallen over their mythical kingdom, the studio announced today.

Still uncast in the movie is the role of the leading man, Kristoff, a mountain climber who leads Anna on her quest through snowy peaks and dangerous cliffs to find the legendary Snow Queen.
