No it's clearly stated [Disney Duster proved this] that this was some leaked Storyboard for Mermaid III. Whether it will be used for Ariel's Beginning or not is clearly up for debate. As It can be scrapped. But that was or still is, a storyboard for Mermaid III.

Yeah, I don't remember Disney Duster ever proving it. But I'm sure he could have (that's a compliment).

But I really can't prove it. In the "storyboard" section of the site it calls the sketch "The Little Mermaid I".
However, I think DisneyToon, who knows a lot of inside info about Dsney Toon Studios (before it closed), did say that he/she knew the person who made the storyboard and that it was for The Little Mermaid III.
Also, the sketch looks like this script that someone wrote and wanted to be made into The Little Mermaid III, and it had to do with these new people setting sail with Eric and Ariel, looking for something. And I think Meldoy got kidnapped. I didn't read much of it at all, I don't even think it had anyone becoming a mermaid, so the title would have nothing to do with the movie. I don't know how a script someone wrote could ever actually be considered for Disney just like that, but maybe an artist saw it and just decided to take a storyboard stab at it.

but do you think it might be a deleted storyline for The Little Mermaid II? (also there's a storyboard in that website of the scene of Tip and Dash coming to rescue the baby pinguine) your idea that Ariel and Eric are looking for Melody who's been kidnapped make sense.
I also remember i saw some random Little Mermaid II concept arts.

I HATE HATE HATE sequils to Classic Disney Animated Movies. I dont give them the time of day. I thought they werent going to release anymore!? IM CONFUSED!

At the moment Ariel's Beginning is the last cheapquel and insted they"ll keep making things like Enchanted Tales and the TinkerBell Movie.

Well, the movie isnt out until late August, and thats 6 months away. If Disney reveal it all now, there will be an even longer wait for us !
When did Cinderella's A Twist In Time site launch? Not the teaser site like the one Little Mermaid has now, but the full site? That might give us some idea of when Ariel's will.

I also wonder when we"ll get a new cover,the old Cinderella III cover looks similar to the artwork we saw,i wonder if we"ll get new Ariel merchandise with the film? (Simba Toys said they"ll release new Ariel's sisters dolls (including Ariel,of course),with new Sleeping Beauty dolls for the Platinum Edition),
