I don’t think they’ll change the date. The trailer is supposed to play in front of the new Paw Patrol movie next week. It’ll still come online on Wednesday.

Sorry, I didn’t see that message. But I’ve heard since then that Disney confirmed the trailer is coming next Wednesday in a press release.
I wonder how long it’ll be before full-size dolls of the other Teens (not the mini ones we’ve already seen) are released. Actually, I have a feeling Disney will only release dolls of the Bashful-inspired Teen and the Happy-inspired Teen (and maybe the Grumpy-inspired Teen) because they might think dolls of the male Teens won’t sell very well. If that turns out to be the case, then I’m particularly looking forward to seeing what the doll of the Bashful-inspired Teen looks like because she’s my favorite Teen.Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 20, 2023 4:21 am The dolls are starting to appear in stores. The basic one looks really cute and the dress has the sparkles that can be seen in one of the artworks posted a few days ago

Thanks for the list! It's very helpful to predict when future trailers like the Wish one will arrive. And welcome to the forum! Great Youtube channel, by the way! It's a great resource for animation fans.Animation Compendia wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 8:21 am Hey!
This is our first post on the site. We have been following this site for a long time.
We are also excited for the release of the new trailer for Disney's Wish. We made a list showing the premiere dates of the trailers for the past Disney animated films starting with 2010's Tangled.
I was surprised the Queen had a doll too. The dress may be part of the reason, but I think she'll probably have an important role in the film as well. If her role was very small, I don't think she would get one.UmbrellaFish wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 5:30 pm Is it significant that Queen Amaya has a doll? I’m just surprised by that, but I don’t have an encyclopedic knowledge of Disney dolls. But the only other times I can think of when a secondary, older female character was turned into a doll, they are usually villains, right? Maybe it’s just because her costume is more princess-y than Asha’s?
I’m also excited to see them, mostly because I love ensemble charactersElMaximo13 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 22, 2023 8:56 am Some of you have probably noticed that the back of the box for the Teens mini dolls describes the Teens as “Asha’s quirky and diverse group of friends”, which has in turn probably set off alarm bells for some of you because it’s made you think “Oh no, Disney thinks these are amusing side characters but they’re really just annoying and underdeveloped and they’re bound to take too much of the focus off Asha” or “Oh no, Disney’s putting a woke rehash of the Seven Dwarfs in Wish”. But personally, I don’t think either of those things. I’m actually looking forward to seeing the Teens in the movie because they sound quite fun (to me, at least) and as I said in my previous post, the Bashful-inspired one is already my favorite. I think someone also said in one of their posts that “The Teens” is a stupid name, but what other name can they really have if that’s what they are? I know some of you won’t agree with me, but I just wanted to give you all my two cents on the situation.
I know that Queen Elinor got dolls but I can't think of others at the moment... I love the Star plush, too!!UmbrellaFish wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 5:30 pm Is it significant that Queen Amaya has a doll? I will definitely be buying a plush of the star character.
He’s a guy and he’s based on Dopey.blackcauldron85 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 4:36 amI know that Queen Elinor got dolls but I can't think of others at the moment... I'm confused- is the blond, skinny Teen a girl, guy, nonbinary? I can't tell...
I didn’t think about Queen Elinor but her role was really central to that movie. I was kinda expecting Queen Amaya to be in the movie as much as Rapunzel’s mom or Aurora’s mom. So I’m curious to see what her role in the movie is exactly.blackcauldron85 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 4:36 amI know that Queen Elinor got dolls but I can't think of others at the moment... Mattias from Frozen 2 had a doll too and he was not a very important character in the film.UmbrellaFish wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 5:30 pm Is it significant that Queen Amaya has a doll? Well, Frozen II had many dolls of the secondary characters. Like King Agnarr, Queen Iduna, Honeymaren and Ryder. And Brave had a doll of Queen Ellinor.Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 10:42 amMattias from Frozen 2 had a doll too and he was not a very important character in the film.UmbrellaFish wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 5:30 pm Is it significant that Queen Amaya has a doll? They released also Ariel's sister dolls from the live action and they only appear 5 minutes in the movie.
I think that they Did an Amaya doll for fans. They now that they are going to buy her, she's not quite expensive to make
Ariel sisters only exist in the movie to be made into merchandising, they had less than a minute of screentimeThumper_93 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 10:42 amMattias from Frozen 2 had a doll too and he was not a very important character in the film.UmbrellaFish wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 5:30 pm Is it significant that Queen Amaya has a doll? Thank you for pointing that out about the Frozen 2 characters (I’d argue Ariel’s sisters are a little different… they have had little screen time throughout the history of the franchise but there’s been lots of merch of them for years). So maybe Amaya’s doll doesn’t point to anything after all.Thumper_93 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 10:42 amMattias from Frozen 2 had a doll too and he was not a very important character in the film.UmbrellaFish wrote: ↑Thu Sep 21, 2023 5:30 pm Is it significant that Queen Amaya has a doll? Speaking of Honeymaren, who else thinks the design of Asha’s dress is like hers, particularly the chest area?DisneyFan09 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2023 10:46 amWell, Frozen II had many dolls of the secondary characters.
