I didn't like what they did to Happy's personality, and he looked off, butotherwise i liked seeing the "Simpsonized" Disney/Pixar/SW/Marvel characters. It wasn't great but it could have been worse.

Yeah, that was pretty out of character, for him, but I guess it was because the "party" he attended was super boring, until Lisa came along.

Disney released a look-and-find image with all the Disney+ properties. Some of them differ based on the region. They did the same last year.

thanks D82!

btw count me in as another who's not a fan of all this franchise mixing. I haven't liked it since they bought the Muppets back in the 90s.

Starting December 15th, selected 2022 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures titles will release simultaneously on Disney+/Hulu (depending on rating and content) and HBO Max under a deal between Disney and WarnerMedia. Disney is expected not to renew this deal past 2022.

The first such simultaneous release will be "Ron's Gone Wrong," which will simultaneously stream on both HBO Max and Disney+ on December 15th.

Do you have a link? I'm curious if Malta is included in the lineup. :)

No idea. First, they said that it would come summer 2021. Then, changed it to fall 2021, and finally summer 2022.

I saw an official announcement on Disney+'s Romanian Facebook page. Most likely, Malta is also in the lineup.

A random thought I had about streaming is how it probably means less money for actors in the long run. Most shows that re-run on TV pay out residuals to the actors. That can't really happen with streaming where shows only air if someone clicks on them? Or do the actors get residuals whenever that happens? I'm curious and wondered if anyone here might know how all that works, if at all.

I found this:
Because New Media allows viewers access to content 24/7, the residual percentage rate is structured differently. If a project is up on a streaming service, the percentage rate is applied for the first year, then continues to decline until year thirteen; from there, the smallest percentage rate is applied in perpetuity.

Interesting. At least that's something, but somehow it still seems like an unfair system. Some shows will naturally receive more views than others; think of, for example, how The Golden Girls gets re-runned on around 10 different channels it seems because its ratings are better than other things. But on streaming it it would eventually only receive the smallest percentage rate the same as a show that only gets 1 view a year.

Whenever you request on Disney+, you always fill out three suggestions EH? Besides suggesting things they could add the service even for just us Canadians like Harry Potter fantastic beasts the hobbit etc. also because you never know, why not suggest movies And shows etc. that they could end up making? I suggested toy story 5, a bugs life 2, dinosaur 2,Narnia the silver chair And even Milo Murphy’s Law season 3 for example :-) again you never know EH? :-)

Thank you for the info. :-) Actually, I doubt Malta is on the lineup. I googled "Disney+ Malta" and all I get are Reddit threads complaining that the service isn't here yet, and no news whatsoever.

If Malta is the last country in Europe to get it, Burbank had better watch out!  lol

I'm surprised they don't do more for Moana then? With M&C's last film being the biggest movie on Disney+ for, what, two years now, you'd think Disney would want the people responsible for its success to make another film for them.

Makes sense, since I only really use D+ for the Marvel shows. I own most of what I already want to see. I see Iron Man, Shang-Chi, Loki, and one of the guys from Monsters at Work in my email.
