I do like how they are keeping the mystery of the film going, rather than vomiting it all out in trailer after trailer after trailer. Excited to see this, that's for sure.

Elsa looks great with her hair down. I really liked the transformation she seems to be undergoing at the end of the trailer. It reminded a bit when Kida transformed in Atlantis: The Lost Empire. Olaf pretending to be Elsa during charades while funny was somewhat meta. Its purpose was to wink at the audience. That Elsa strut is from the Let It Go sequence that none of the other characters witnessed. Elsa never did that again so Olaf and Kristoff shouldn't have been able to recognize it.

I liked how Elsa holds that pillow because I do that too...

The new UK trailer made it clear that those are two different scenes spliced together. The whole gang goes into the mist the first time around but Elsa and Anna go again just the two of them at a later point in the film.

^ I really hope that's not part of the film.

Longer snippet of "Into the Unknown" from a performance on
Dancing with the Stars. The first couplet is different from the one heard in the Japanese
special look.
That one started with:
"I can hear you but I won't,
some look for trouble while other don't."
whereas this one goes:
"You're not a voice, you're just a ringing in my ear,
and if I heard you—which I don't—I'm spoken for I fear."

Taken from the book "Frozen II: Forest of Shadows". I guess Rapunzel and Eugene making a cameo in Frozen wasn't just an Easter egg. They're really setting both franchises in the same universe.

It's just in a book though so I wouldn't expect anything more than that, or at least I hope so. I'm surprised they haven't done some Frozen/Tangled crossover in the Tangled TV series.

That Japanese trailer was quite epic and I liked seeing more of Olaf and the comedy part in the other trailers and TV spots.

I liked that joke because I found it quite funny, but you're right.

Thanks for sharing! We have listened to most of the song already! Regarding those couplets, according to
the lyrics that were leaked some time ago, both are part of the song. What happens is that some verses are omitted in those snippets. Here are the lyrics of "Into the Unknown" (or at least what I understood from that video):
INTO THE UNKNOWN
I can hear you, but I won’t
Some look for trouble, while others don’t
There’s a thousand reasons I should go about my day
And ignore your whispers, which I wish would go away
You’re not a voice, you’re just a ringing in my ear
And if I heard you, which I don’t, I’m spoken for, I fear
Everyone I’ve ever loved is here within these walls
I’m sorry secret siren, but I’m blocking out your calls
I’ve had my adventure, I don’t need something new
I’m afraid of what I’m risking if I follow you
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
Into the unknown
What do you want? ‘Cause you’ve been keeping me awake
Are you here to distract me, so I make a big mistake?
Or are you someone out there who’s a little bit like me
Who knows deep down I’m not where I’m meant to be?
Every day is a little harder as I feel my power grow
Don’t you know there’s part of me that longs to go
Into the unknown?
Into the unknown?
Into the unknown?
Are you out there? Do you know me?
Can you feel me? Can you show me?
Where are you going? Don’t leave me alone
How do I follow you
Into the unknown?

Thanks for transcribing the lyrics for us! I can't wait to listen to the song in full!
By the way, Frozen 2 is getting an official 6-part podcast about the making of the film. It will launch on November 20.

Yes, thank you so much!!! Was the Japanese version of ItU just not mixed in time for the trailer? It's kind of not fair for people in Japan that don't speak English, I think.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind if this movie turned out to be one of my favorite animated movies of this year. Considering that this is among the first post-Lasseter releases and that I wasn't particularly keen on the predecessor, I wouldn't mind if this movie turned out to be great. But I still have my doubts, as it will most likely follow the formula of it's predecessor.

I want to believe otherwise cause they had six years to work on it unlike the first where they rewrote everything in six months. If there isn't a twist villain then that's a plus for me. Though the songs seem to have a mixture of really great and really crap like the first one had, though I'll wait for the soundtrack and then make my decision on the matter.
The trailers make me believe this film will have the same tone problems the first one did with over dramatic with Anna and Elsa's scene and completely infantilised and almost ridiculous with Olaf's scenes... I'm hoping there's not so much focus on him though.
