Just came back from watching. The story wasn't bad, made me cry a little. Loved all the characters. Baymax is such a great disney character and will be loved forever. As a Japanese guy, I was disappointed in all the missed opportunities of cultural reference to Japan. ESPECIALLY WITH THE SCORE. The setting was gorgeous though. Overall, cute movie but I didn't like it as much as other recent movies such as Frozen and Wreck-it Ralph

For people who have seen it - how would you rank the 6 members of the team? Which do you think will be the most popular across the board?

Still, you did like the film despite the shortcomings, and I suppose that is pretty significant seeing as you're Japanese yourself.
So from which part of Japan are you from,
WonderNeverOz?

I've never met or talked to a Japanese person, but I would love to!

Unfortunately that happens several times with Disney films. I'm biracial myself, Hispanic and Norwegian and "The Emperor's New Groove" was a missed opportunity to include some Andean music in the soundtrack, which I love. And although "Frozen" had some Norwegian folk music, it was still not as much as it could have been.

Our studio attached trailers: Tomorrowland and Inside Out, but sadly no Age of Ultron.
Also, our final runtime (including Feast) will be 1:47:54.

New official BH6 site:
http://baymaxherolab.com
It has tiny clips of the 6 at the end (just keep hitting where it says you can change your hero if you're not happy with the results).

Score preview:

Score sounds a bit like the scores on old anime. I like it. However, it reminds me a lot of WiR.
And is disney seriously submitting "Immortals" for best song?

It's noteworthy that he mentions "Treasure Planet" as his favorite animated Disney film, but I'm glad he's doing so. It's a film that deserves more recognition and since the film was released in 2002, he was at the right age group back then.

Man, now I feel old because I used to watch Treasure Planet in the car when I was younger. Yeah, he would have been seven years old when that movie came out.

A character designer on tumblr said that Go Go is Korean instead of Japanese. I think to keep with the theme of the characters matching with their voice actors' ethnicities. So that means every one on the team has had a race lift. I find that really interesting in my opinion.

Just like with
Frozen, BH6 is playing tonight, so make sure to check if your theater is showing it tonight! I'm going at 7pm!
Also, I was at Target a week or two ago, and I saw that the Wasabi action figure had his full name on the box, Wasabi No-Ginger; I had thought that they dropped his "last name" in the final version of the Disney version but maybe I just remembered wrong.
