More cuter and more kid friendly so more marketable. Hero's Duty is a bit rougher and has that "video game violence " feel, which wouldn't add in sales.

Plus, I get the feeling that quite a large chunk of this movie will be spent in Sugar Rush... more so than the others.

The feeling is right on. I don't remember where it was said, but an article confirmed that a great chunk of the movie would take place at Sugar Rush, and many of its pivotal points would happen there.

Both Wreck-it Ralph & Merida from "Brave" have no love intrest. Merida is the first princess without a prince & Ralph is the first main Disney character with no love intrest since Jim Hawkins in Treasure Planet. Then again after seeing Dolpy's art on Deviant Art, it my just be Ralph. You didn't see this with Tangled & i'm sure you won't see this with Frozen next year. Are Rapunzel & Anna more lovable & attractive than Merida & Ralph?
Disney must think so :|

Characters don't necessarily have to have love interests. It's not about whether Disney finds them lovable or not but whether it suits the story. It's not that uncommon for Disney's protagonists to be uninvolved in romantic plots, indeed there was a clear shift in direction after the Disney Renaissance to reduce the focus on romantic love and this trend is only now reversing. The Emperor's New Groove, Lilo and Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Chicken Little, Meet the Robinsons and Bolt all did not have romance as an important element.

Also, I am not too sure that Frozen will have romance in it. There might be but it will not be the heart of the movie which will probably focus on love between siblings.

Some of the films you mentioned the characters do have love interests, at least in sequeals or series:

The Emperor's New School: Love Interest Malina

Brother Bear 2: Love Interest Nita

In Chicken little it was clear that Abby was Chicken little's love interest, as they kissed towards the film's end

In Meet the Robinsons Lewis Love Interest was Franny, as they would marry in the future & have a family.

As for Frozen, will the film focus more on Anna & Elsa or Anna & Kristoff? Yes the film is about these 2 sisters & Anna trying to find & save Elsa, but the film will mostly follow the journey that Anna & Kristoff are on. And romance is sure to blossom.

I don't really count the animated series or sequels. And the romantic element in Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons is very minor and negligible.

Don't forget that some of the earlier movies didn't have romance as the focus of the story, such as Pinocchio, Dumbo and Peter Pan.

Wasn't there a love triangle in Peter Pan between Peter, Tink & Wendy. Tink was jealous of Wendy & Wendy was jealous of Tiger Lily. Now Alice in Wonderland, that had no love interest.

Aka, they belong in the section that has those Power Rangers, Halo, and transformers.

That's right. Since it's known by now Vanellope's a glitch(why a character's a glitch, i'll never know) and doesnt get the respect of her peers, nor can she leave the game. She's a kindred spirit to ralph, and Ralph chooses to stay and help her.

The Litwik commercial actually was pretty cool.It even feels like it could have come out from the 80's.In fact I have a feeling that it would actually be fun if they did more commericals with 80's types of commercials.I mean that would be fun. :D

I hope they do commercials for Hero's Duty & Sugar Rush.

We all know the score: For Boys Disney has Cars, Toy Story & Marvel SuperHeroes. "Disney owns Pixar & Marvel".

For Girls Disney has Disney Princess & Tinkerbell.

Mickey Mouse & Jack Skellington are gender-neutral.

They have the most family friendly image so it probably sells the best on their systems.

Well, that was amusing.

I couldn't help noticing Henry Jackman's quiet score in the background. It sounds good.

which doesnt really make sense when you bring in every other licensed game plus Pixar and Epic Mickey 2.

Anyway, Henry Jackson's score sounds good, and I liked that sound effect when Vanellope swings up.
