I skimmed through my TLM2 copy, and took some caps, which correspond to TLM3 scenes. Here's some of the ones I'm almost sure are double-takes.

I also went through the musical sneak peek, and found these shots sorta similar:

And this fish... could be the same fish? "The fluke is the duke of soul" (yeah... lol)

:D So excited!

I think they did their homework.
I was kinda hoping I could totally disregard #2 when this movie came out, but with those pics, I might not be able to.

i really dont think movie #2 will come into movie #3 at all...
i also dont think anything from the series will come into it either.
i dunno why i think this, its just a feeling i have!
and i kinda hope im right! as movie #2 wasnt that great.
i think it will just start out as young ariel and tell the full
story up until the start of the 1st movie.
if its done in this ways then nothing from the 2nd movie or the
series needs to be shown.

although how can you have young ariel without urchin??????
or is urchin in it??? i havent heard anything...

I think this film ignores both the series (for exmaple-in the film they seems to make a different version of how Ariel and Flounder first met and they allready showed how they first met in the series) and Little Mermaid II.

I think the film may disregard the series, but not the first sequel.

By the way, ariels'prince, I just noticed that you joined UD the day after I did. :)

Maybe it isn't (after all-Ariel here looks like Melody).
Really? i didn't noticed that,that's neat :D.

You want the series to be ignored, but you want Urchin to be in it? Urchin was created by the series. You can't have it both ways.

This a prequel, supposedly set right after Ariel and Eric's wedding day. Of course Melody won't be in it!

Don't worry, Vermin Friends has told you incorrectly. This is a prequel tto the first film, and is set before Ariel ever meets Eric. So, Eric will not be in this film. TLMIII is, I think, about how Triton, for some reason, banned music and Ariel plans to do something about it. That is probably the most basic way of saying it, but that is the best way for me to say since I really don't know if this is correct or not. If you are unsure, I'm sure there are many posts about the plot and I'm sure with a little investigating you can easily find your answer.

I think what Vermin Friends meant, was that Ariel was telling Eric of her life story the day after her wedding day. That's just a rumor, though.

Though wasn't there a storyboard for beginning scene of Ariel on the ship talking to Eric for the Little Mermaid III?

Supposedly, but we don't even know if it was for TLM:3. The writing was too small to read.
