Mulan II by a mile. Not only was it a horrible movie, but it made me dislike all the characters I loved so much in the original. Mulan became a whiny, simpering princess-type, Shang became an egomaniacal, incompetent alpha-male, Mushu became a bratty little child looking out for himself, and the movie spent way too much time on the stupid soldiers and their irritating girlfriends. The songs were awful, there was practically no action, and it lost everything that made the original one of my favorites.

Lol, I'm joking. But seriously? Worst? Common! What about all the sequels who waited all their lives to be called "the worst"?
Calm down...

Raydawggie, you're spot on. The characters and feel of the story were not even close to their original form. I felt sick watching the movie and the only reason I didn't turn it off was because I have this habbit of seeing every movie all the way through!

I know, I think I should start renting some of the ones I missed. Now that I think of it I have seen the Emperor's New Groove (my friend FORCED me to watch it) and I actually liked it. I saw parts of Lilo and Stitch when a friend had it on some illegal download from the internet. I haven't seen all of it though.

I'm contemplating trying out Mulan- I went to the Disney Animation exhibit at MGM and really liked the character, Mushu, that was "interacting" with the host.

I'll try them out :thumb: ... but I'm still mad over Pocahontas!!! :x

And I LOVE the Little Mermaid!!!!!!!!!!! :D
Yeah The Little Mermaid is an awesome Disney classic! I can't wait for the PE :D

Pocahontas was a terrible movie but that doesn't mean all of the movies released after it were terrible :P

As for Mulan, you should really watch that one, it's an excellant movie and that Mushu is indeed a great character

You should also finish watching Lilo and Stitch. That's another great film. Stitch is an awesome character aswell

Yeah I agree that alot of those films are good. Pocahontas was so-so
:| , not bad, but not great.

Anyways MinnieMe you should also check out Tarzan, Hercules, Brother Bear and Treasure Planet(unless you don't like SCI-FI). All of them, in my opinion, are very entertaining that I think you'll like!

Can anyone tell me what was wrong with Treasure Pleanet's story? I find it quiet good and I don't know what is missing that most of you expect from it. The animation IS gorgeous but there something that doesn't appeal others, what could it be?

i just can't agree this more!

and besides the personality i think the Mulan in 2 looks not like Mulan at all. sometimes i wonder how come they can do the animal role great ( like Lion King 2,1.5 or other animal films ),but when they redo the human characters, something just missing from the animation compares to the first original one.

in my opinion i thought TP is the most faithful one to the original story. ( of course i know the father&son theme is a really big twisted LOL )

Don't forget, when Mulan was disguised as a man, they altered her facial features too. They mention this on the Mulan SE. You should only compare Mulan in Mulan II to "female" Mulan in the first film.

i think this is only better than Esmeralda from The Hunchback 2 and Jasmine from Aldaddin 2&3,i undertsand the sequeal movie is not going to be exactly the same from the first one,but i don't have this kind of "shock" when i see Pocahontas in Pocahontas 2 or the Jungle Book 2.

My problem with it was that I couldn't engage with the characters. That is an important aspect to actually enjoying the film. To me, the characters seemed rather "blah" and thus I didn't care what happened to them.

I thought the movie was visually gorgeous, but in terms of its story development and character development, it was uninspiring at best, and downright bad at worst.

Anyways, this is why I did not enjoy this movie, and is generally the reason why I do not enjoy the movies I do not enjoy.

Sorry you didn't like it Jayden but I loved it. I really felt emotions for the characters and felt sad for Jim Hawkins.

Like everyone sad the animation is extrodanary, but action story-line was awesome, the music was fabulous and B.E.N was hilarious! I think people should start to discover Treasure Planet and like it more since it's such a shame good animated movies like this get forgotten but boring movies like Shrek 2 and Finding Nemo get remembered for ever! But then again that's just my opinion.

Jim was simply a whiney dude who seemed like a clothes-shop dummy and I really couldn't care for him at all. This caused me to lose interest in the story. I must admit as soon as I saw some of the characters walk on (the non human alien things), I thought "uh-oh! stupidity hour...". I'm so sad that this came from Ron Clements and John Musker. I loved The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, and I remembered The Great Mouse Detective, although pretty scary (evil bat and cat=) was fairly fun. Heck, I now have a higher appreciation of Hercules.

Sorry all TP fans, but I didn't like your favourite movie. :)[/i]

I have not seen EVERY Disney movie, but from the ones I have seen...

Pinnochio (don't hate it, just could never "get into it")
Alice In Wonderland, it disturbed me as a child, it still does...

I like the Fox & The Hound, but it is quite depressing...

Many of the NEW live action, I adore the OLD live actions!

I noticed several ppl did not like PD2: Royal Engagment. Although it was not as good as the first, sequels rarely are, I thought it was wonderful, funny, cute and really kept up w/the first one quite well, but to eaches own.

There are so many movies that I dislike. Especially with the ones that they've been releasing lately:
Cinderella II: Dreams Come True (okay, so it's not recent...)
The Toy Story movies (they're my least favorites of the Disney/Pixar movies. Not saying they're horrid, but a little overrated.)
Almost any sequel except for MAYBE the second Lion King movie
The Lizzie McGuire Movie

Can't think of anything else right now...most of my least favorites fall into the "sequels" category.

I'm glad u understand cuz some people dont get that whole factor but alot of the time like what they did with the new Pooh movie and some of the recent sequels like Mulan they get animated in Japan or animated by the TV department that animated the Aladdin sequels. (For the Japanese ones check the credits all of the animators have japanese names) thats also why many of the coloring is VERY BRIGHT!! Like neon colors bright!
