I just created an account for myself at Flynn Lives. I have no idea where the marketing's going with this, but if Orlando's one of the cities they're covering than I want a shot to be in this.

Cheers,

I hope you read Update #5- because at 11 there was something in Lakeland...

Idk when that update was published, though, because when I was on the website this morning, that wasn't there... :(

I just signed up at FlynnLives.com, but on the pitcell website, Orlando isn't listed anymore- I wonder what yesterday's event was...

Info on an earlier draft of the script (I think that something like this has been posted before...but, uh, here it is):

Very detailed descriptions of the 90-second trailer. Has a few F-bombs in there, so beware of the language!

Tron: Legacy coming to theatres in time for the holidays this year, it should have gone without saying that Disney would likely release the classic Tron on Blu-ray sooner rather than later. Well... they haven't actually announced the BD yet, but we've now confirmed that there's a brand new HD transfer of the film available. How so? Well, Bits reader Jacob R. e-mailed last night to say that he's discovered a surprise on HDNet's programming schedule for this week: Tron premieres in high-definition on the network this Wednesday night (9 PM Eastern, 6 PM Pacific)! Rev up your lightcycles, gamers. Flynn lives!

TRON - A hacker is literally abducted into the world of a computer and forced to participate in gladiatorial games where his only chance of escape is with the help of a heroic security program.

I just found an interesting article which hasn't been posted yet. It's about sequels, a possible tv show (heard that right), etc. They're talking about this becoming the new Pirates of the Caribbean in terms of popularity. While I do like the original Tron and the teaser also looked great, I just don't see all these projects becoming as popular as Disney hopes they will be. Same with Prince of Persia. Too big of a budget - not enough public interest.

(Sorry- if you click the first link, it'll bring you to a summary and about 4 other links; usually I'd just click on each link and quote what I think is important (although all of the AICN article is important), but I'm having computer problems, so you'll just have to click through it yourself):
