What happened to the rumored Snow White sequel?
It ate a poison apple and no one wanted to kiss a Snow White sequel...save kiss it goodbye.

We have no way of getting in touch with Disney, and they wouldn't listen to us anyway. Although I have a feeling that they come here to get feedback on their coverarts (like Toy Story).

20th Century Fox. Happily Ever After. The Dwarfelles. Malice. Mother Nature. Batso. Non-canon to Disney, but a nice movie, nonetheless.

We kissed it goodbye a long time ago. So did Disney. Unless you took over Disney, we aren't likely to see it.

"our reasons"? Teede.....read the entire thread. They are YOUR reasons. First off, I HATED Snow White, the last thing I want to do is see a sequal. And for those who love Snow White, they don't want a sequel, except you.
People BEGGED Walt Disney himself for a sequel to the short The Three Little Pigs. He told them, no, that he didn't like sequels. I wish Disney would listen to the words of their own founder. If Snow White 2 was ever made, I think Walt Disney himself would rise from the grave and burn any Disney studio working on it to the ground and then eat Eisner's flesh (which actually isn't a bad idea)...

Teede, seeing as I work for Disney, I'll give them a call for you.

(rushes to give a call. Comes back with a transcript)
Secretary: This is the secretary for Bob Iger's office, how can I help you?
Escapay: Hi, this is (My Real Name). I work at Walt Disney World. Can I speak to Mr. Iger?
Secretary: Sure! He loves hearing from the slaves, I mean College Program interns. Hold, please.
(While on hold, Escapay listens to "Zip-a-dee-doo-dah" and "Chim-Chim-Cheree" on the line before it goes to Iger)
Bob: Bob Iger, how can I help you?
Escapay: Hey there, Bob, it's (My Real Name).
Bob: Oh, hi again, (My Real Name). How's the program? You enjoying it?
Escapay: Yeah, it's been a blast.
Bob: But not like PI last week, huh?
(Laughter)
Escapay: What happens in PI stays in PI.
Bob: True dat.
Escapay: But anyway, I was actually calling because a friend of mine wants to see a sequel to Snow White.
Bob: I'm sorry, I can't help you there. There was national outrage when it was originally leaked out.
Escapay: I know, but this friend of mine, Teede, is insistent. She wants this sequel so she can see what happens next.
Bob: Well, since you're a good friend of mine and we go way back, I'll tell the cartooning people or whatnot to make a sequel and release it in 3000+ theaters, just for her. But it'll take awhile, so tell her it comes out as a double feature with "The Great Mouse Detective 2", in theaters September 2010.
Escapay: Thanks, Bob! See you at PI next week! Don't forget to bring Raven and Lindsay!
Bob: No problem.

Dude. My mom says that they'll plan a sequel to GMD in 2007 or 2008 and you're just playing it and that's not calling Disney and you're roleplaying and I just wanted to see calling Disney at home for real. Tell them that the last Disney sequel Snow White sequel will be released in 2013 to see if how they like it to let them know and that's it.

Damn, Iger's a pimp, he's been holding out on us...I see great things ahead for Disney now... :P

But that was like the best news I've heard in forever. Time for me to go spread this around like wildfire, oh and BTW, can you tell Mr. Iger to please make a Robin Hood 2 and Sword in the Stone 2, cuz I hear that was rumored too, along with GMD 2? Thanks....

Snow White does NOT need a sequel Teede, you need to see that it was the fine the way it ended. A film masterpiece, not to be tampered with by sequel-itis.

Teede, listen, just because your mom says there will be one doesn't mean there will be one. If she has actual proof from Disney, I will kindly accept it and look forward to the sequel. But without proof, it's just a little thing called a rumor.

And just so you know, proof means actual confirmation from Disney themselves. Proof is not "my mom's an adult" or "Don't worry, I know there will be one".
Teede wrote:Tell them that the last Disney sequel Snow White sequel will be released in 2013 to see if how they like it to let them know and that's it.
I think Disney will be a little confused by us telling them there will be a sequel.

The last time I saw Snow White at the Oscars she had gain some extra weight. That is probably the reason why they canceled it. I mean she still looks good for her age but I don't she kids buying a cheapquel staring a fat princess.

Yeah, the cast has gone downhill. Have you seen Happy? Snow White was his only gig and he was a supporting character. He ran out of money and is now living on the streets. He's not happy anymore.

As for what Dopey's up to, you know that voice in the McDonalds commercials that says "I'm lovin' it"? Yep, him.

That's because while he was announcing for McDonald's, he got hooked on the food. He was one of the people in "Supersize Me" actually. He's in rehab to get off burgers. I think it's safe to say he's off the stuff.

We're not laughing at you, as far as I can tell. I'm laughing at the characters from Snow White and joking around. I've got nothing against you or your parents.
