Here is a photo of my Disney DVD collection. All DVD's were issued in Brazil, except for the "Beauty and the Beast - Special Edition" which is Spanish, "Sleeping Beauty - Special Edition" (Mexican), "Pinocchio - Special Edition" (Mexican), "The Little Mermaid" (German) and "The Little Mermaid - Limited Issue" (American).

I like your very collection very mucho. I am glad to see I am not the only Disney DVD Fanatic. Here is a song that comes to mind
You sigh, the song begins, you speak and I hear violins
It's magic
The stars desert the skies and rush to nestle in your eyes
It's magic
Without a golden wand or mystic charms
Fantastic things begin when I am in your arms
When we walk hand-in-hand, the world becomes a wonderland
It's magic
How else can I explain those rainbows when there isn't rain?
It's magic
Why do I tell me myself these things that happen are all really true
When in my heart I know the magic is my love for you?
It's magic
It's magic
Why do I tell me myself these things that happen are all really true
When in my heart I know the magic is my love for you?

This may be the newbie in my (I have a complete collection, and I've been collecting for over a year, but I'm still new to this forum)...but I've noticed that a lot of you have duplicate copies of films. Different versions or the same...WHY do you guys buy so many?

Is it worth $20-$25 or so? I'd say so. I got mine for not much more than that. The book is nice-looking, though not really filled with substance. More than half of it is devoted to retelling the film's story, and most of the rest is concerned with how cool the DVD you already bought is.
But the drawings, book, DVD, and box do look really, really cool together. For that price, and if you really like The Lion King, I'd say it's definitely worthwhile.
At the $35-$40 prices it was upon release, it's a tougher recommendation.

Cool collection, marcosfts! Are those VHS's behind the DVDs? If it is possible it would be nice to see which you have of those too! BTW, it looks like you order them by year, but why did you put SLeeping Beauty, Lilo and Stitch, and Beauty and the Beast in the front?

Well I don't have access to a digital camera, but I thought I'd share my collection anyway.

well with the platinums I always make it a habit to get two. one for my viewing pleasure and the other for my vault since this movies will be in the vault for 10 years and a 2 disc is not a definitive upon it's re-release you can get wealthy owning a sealed second copy also if your first copy gets damaged you have a second! now to the multiple versions....... this is a complicated one

hehe not really. I bought the bug's life original CE and then when the re-release came out I bought it because i liked the slipcase and because it came with finding nemo fishy facts which was a rip off but oh well at least I have the slip case! I also have multiple version of some because i've been collecting since 98 and many different versions have come out since.
