I love those art covers they are excellent!!!
Second and fifth art covers are good but the second one is the best.
I thought that Bambi was coming out before Cinderella.
Oh well whatever both Disney films are excellent to collect on DVD.

I definitely like the third and fourth cover designs, but chances are I bet it'll be changed for the worse...(just look at Sleeping Beauty for crying out loud.)

The first cover looks bad but the rest of them look quite nice!
Cinderella's face looks off where she's dancing with the prince... I'd choose the 4th or 5th ones...
But still, I'm not 100% sure that these are really the covers, too early IMO.

i dont think that any of the artwork that i saw will appear as the DVD cover. i think Disney has a different one that they might used. i could tell that cover #1 was from a bootleg copy of the film. i also remember seeing other artwork cover for the Aladdin DVD before Disney released a picture of what the cover actually looks like.

Well, I don't think I've "voted" on the other thread, so I will here: I like #'s 3-5.
#2 shouldn't have Cinderella on the cover twice.
But I really like how they're re-using the logo from the original Black Diamond Video Release-I hate it when they make up new logos.

It seems I'm the only one who likes the first version. Not my favorite, but it is nice since it is the theatrical poster for the film (from the eighties I believe) and Disney rarely uses the posters for the coverart of their films.
From all the covers, the only one I don't like is the second one. Too many Cinderellas and the transformation of her dress looks weird. My favorites are the third and the fifth ones. The only problem with the fifth cover is that it looks too much like the one created for "Snow White", so I think the third cover is the one to go.

yeah the 5th cover looks like Cinderella is getting ready to eat the glass slipper. the Lion King cover looks like Simba is about to eat Rafiki and baby Simba. whats with Disney having the main character looking like he/she is going to eat another character/item on the cover.

well the Beast is a beast you know. I could imagine Austin Power dialouge in the movie Beauty and the Beast:
Belle: Oh you're such a sexy beast.
Beast: No, you're a sexy beast.
Belle: No, You're a sexy beast
Beast: No You are a sexy beast.
Belle & Beast: We're both sexy beasts

Nasty, heheeh! I don't know about it in the USA, but here in Brazil, to "eat" someone is a crude way of saying "to have a sexual relationship".

COMPLETELY uncalled for. Shame on you. Mistakes like this are made often, and I've no seen no indicents of idiocy on MMB's part. If you are going engage in insults directed at other members of the community, then don't bother posting again.
I think I've decided that I like the 3rd best, though I still want the aforementioned revisions. And yeah, her face is a little off on the first four covers.

Sshhhh, Uncle Remus might get offended if you mention any sexual reference...
he doesn't like sex that much...

I think it is everywhere. Or in a lot of places anyways. There was a time in western culture when "eating out" meant you were going out for a meal...
Kram Nebuer wrote:So I guess for BatB, Beast is ready to eat Belle! jk, that's gross
I've seen that version! I was in high school at the time, and have been trying to track down a copy ever since. It ranks up there with the "other" version of Aladdin, "1001 Erotic Nights II"

Wow, I check out the forum for the first time in a while and I find Cinderella cover art!!!! WOW! (Though I realize that these may not b definate cover arts, they still seem like possibilities, maybe disney is going to have some secret voting on which cover art should be used...

I too, like the first cover art. I think it looks really nice! I don't understand why everyone is so against it, it seems like the most mature and tame cover art of the bunch...
I also like the idea of the second one, but Cinderella's transformation did not go from top to bottom as is depicted in the picture, but rather bottom to top. Also I'm not a big fan of the giant Cinderella and Prince at the tops of most of the covers or the giant Cinderella in the last cover. I really do not like the 3rd cover or the 5th, the 4th is alright, but I prefer the first 2 over the others...

Personal attacks against other members are never encouraged, and I'm not sure why some felt the need to do that here.
I'm splitting the off-topic comments.

They aren't encouraged, but they are always quite fun when they do happen.
As long as I can make purile "eating out" jokes, I'm happy.

Brilliant.
Anyways, time to get back on subject!
I don't necessarily dislike the 2nd cover, but I think it just seems a little awkward to have Cinderella pictured twice. I agree that the first does seem a little more mature, perhaps even subdued, but it doesn't really follow the previous Platinum's styles. And as some of you know, I prefer the regal, bustling, colorful color to the artsy, stylistic, mature ones.

I think a cool cover would have Cinderella dressed in rags on the floor holding up a bubble, and in the bubble you would see the castle, and outside the castle would be her coach. Underneath the bubble would be the Cinerella title and Lady Tramaine would be in the bottom corner, and if neccessary, Lucifer could be at her feet glaring at the mice in the opposite corner.... I wish I could illustrate what I'm thinking, but o well...
If you're wondering what Cinderella holding the bubble would look like, go here

I like Cover 3, but I think the castle should be the same size as it was in cover 2, then i think it would look really nice. However, I do agree that more characters should be included some how, as long as things don't get too crowded or sloppy.
