The lyric videos for the Mexican and Brazilian renditions of the song "Live Your Story" include footage of Moana and Elena of Avalor but not of Anna or Elsa. The same goes for the music video of the French-Canadian and Japanese renditions.

Yeah, the Disney Film Facts guy said it'a unlikely that Vanellope will join the princess lineup. Still a bizarre choice with that scene in the sequel

@Skylerhxc Do you know of any plans for Vanellope in the princess lineup? I was at the expo and they crowned her as an honorary Princess and they “welcomed Sarah into the family.” Plus Vanellope confirms her princess status in the sequel, so...

Auli'l has been chosen as the singer of the new theme song. I believe that this is a sign of Moana slowly joining the lineup.

I don't think they will make any coronation for Moana or anything like that. I think one day they will just add her to the official website and that's it.
Still dying to see a 2D clip-art for Moana. It's weird how she is still either CGI or somehow stylized in all her merch. Anna/Elsa didn't joined the franchise either, yet they usedthe same 2D style for them as for the other princesses.

Maybe because when Elsa and Anna came out, no one realized how big Frozen would be, so they already had 2D models ready. Nowadays I always see Elsa and Anna in CGI form, alongside Moana. Rapunzel and Merida are always in their 2D redesigns because of the DP line to keep the princesses uniform.

The music video and the behind-the-scenes featurette for Auli'i Cravalho's cover of "Live Your Story" have been released. Oddly, Moana isn't featured in the video; only Ariel, Belle, Tiana, and Merida are included. I was hoping they'd make her rendition more of a traditional ballad instead of using the same synth-pop sound of the original. They auto-tuned her voice so much, I had trouble recognizing it at first. Such a wasted opportunity.

Agreed. At first, I thought it was the original singer until she started singing. Why, oh why, would you auto-tune a professional and iconic voice, especially if it's the voice of one of YOUR characters. And speaking which, where was everyone?! It was so hard to see Ariel, Belle, Tiana, & Merida and when you see them, you barely do because they're so clear and dark. Such a shame and poor marketing at their part

AMC Theaters is screening Disney Princess movies as part of the Dream Big, Princess campaign and Moana is included.

So now the live action remakes are a part of this brand? Why am I not surprised?

Wait a minute, my AMC schedule says they are showing THE ANIMATED Disney Princess movies! Like, Beauty and the Beast 1991 is listed for September 14 and Cinderella 1950 is listed for October 12th for the pre-sale tickets for my AMC. Is mine just different, or are they just using the wrong images?

Moana was a part of the Disney Princess LEGO commercial series. It's obvious she's starting to be in the lineup at this point

Weren't some of the Frozen sets branded as part of the Disney Princess LEGO commercials too? There are new LEGO books featuring all the Disney Princesses living together in a castle but they don't feature Elsa, Anna, or Moana.

I reckon it will be Wreck It Ralph that actually cements them all as canon Princesses. The general public all think they are anyway, so I don't see how having them all congregate in the Princess Room will dispel that thought process !?

I don't think Wreck it Ralph will make them all part of the princess line. I really hope they don't. It'll just get bigger and bigger.

I don't mean they will have any sort of ceremony or anything, just that it will make them even more cemented in the public's eye as being one group, rather than the Frozen girls being separate.

Oh, yes, this will make the public think they are all official Disney Princesses, for sure!

It is very clear now Moana will join the lineup in the future. Someone from the UK caught her in a doll set with the rest of the girls.

Not too surprised about this since Moana is popular but not popular enough to sell merchandise as a solo character/franchise. I wonder if they'll officially coronate her or just throw her onto the Disney Princess website and call it a day. After Merida and the Frozen sisters, I can see Disney not wanting to make a spectacle out of it. I also find it interesting that Merida is missing in that box set. Wonder if she'll slowly be phased out and replaced with Moana.

Does anyone think Vanellope has a stronger chance to be in the lineup? I mean, Vanellope has the princess status in both movies. She has the princess gown and now surprisingly, she even has the song like all of the other WDAS princesses. Vanellope has everything checked in the princess checklist, minus the animal sidekick. And if WDAS is going through this much length to have Wreck-It Ralph be remembered, Vanellope being in the lineup is guaranteed security.

Plus (MAJOR SPOILER): If she does join the princess lineup, she would also be the first one to leave the throne. But if Mulan who isn't a princess can be in the lineup and almost same with Elsa despite being a queen, so can Vanellope despite her background.
