I just watched "Brother Bear" with commentary by Rutt and Tuke. I wish that there was a commentary by the creators, but this one is funny, sometimes.

I watched The Hunchback of Notre Dame yesterday night for the first time, trully wonderful. Great animation, outstading musical score, awesome characters, moving plot, excellent, definately the last of Disney's Animated Masterpieces.

Just watched Finding Nemo again last night as I was doing some freelance work. It was great to have it on in the background and enjoy Marlin and Dory's humor. Also, I have a little DVD player and was listening to it on the headphones -- the sound was great! I kind of wonder why they weren't nominated for a sound oscar because it was really impressive!

Oh, I should add that when I watched Saludos Amigos and Aristocats, they were on VHS... they didn't the DVDs in the library for those :( . It's not as big a deal for Saludos, I s'pose, but oh well.

Mulan was on DVD though :)

I just watched Brother Bear. It was pretty sad but had some really good animation and morals. However, I am much more excited to see The Three Musketeers now that I've seen the preview!

Just watched Brother Bear (all the way through; I watched bits of it yesterday). And I really remember how much I love it. Sigh. It's still my #4 Disney (after Lilo & Stitch, The Rescuers Down Under, and Fantasia 2000). I also watched the 45-minute documentary, which was really neat ... to see behind-the-scenes, hear from the cast and crew.

I just watched "Winnie The Pooh: Springtime With Roo" which would have been great if I were 5. The animation is nothing to brag about and the story is very simple. Obviously made without the adult Pooh fans in mind. It is pretty cute, but it is weird because Rabbit is the Easter Bunny and dosen't want to do Easter this year. Instead he wants to do Spring Cleaning. Is this really what we want children to think Easter is all about? And won't children be scared that mean old Rabbit is the bunny that breaks into their homes every year to lay painted eggs all over the house? I would have been. I liked to imagine the Easter Bunny as friendly and white and fluffy. Not Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh!

Worst Pooh Film Ever!
