I had a very easy time. I didn't even know UP was 19.99lol. Everything else was done without question.
And the book has some very nice artwork.

I got question. I'm trying to decide which version of Up to buy. What DVD bonus features are included on the Blu-Ray/DVD combo?

I also wanted to know if the DVD disc in the Blu Ray version was the same as the DVD in the 2 disc DVD version. In that version the DVD and the bonus material are on disc 1 and the digital copy is on the 2nd disc. Best Buy in my area had both versions (2 Disc DVD and 4 Disc BluRay) for $23.99.

Ok, I found my answer in the UD review:
and a Blu-ray combo which includes the deluxe DVD and digital copy
Well, if the deluxe DVD is included in the combo, I'm going for the combo!

I'm going to Target tomorrow morning to see about getting UP and Monster's Inc. I'm hoping they still have some in stock. I wanted to go today but wasn't able to. I've heard though that some people had Monster's Inc come up as $16.99 without any price comp. Did anyone here have that happen? I'm just curious what the concenus was on that. I know that Up seems to be $19.99 everywhere.

I just checked on Amazon and this is what it said about the DVD on the Blu-Ray version; "DISC 3 (DVD)
* Film, plus special features from disc 1. Essentially the single disc cut of Up (Single Disc Widescreen). "

Which makes it the Deluxe Edition DVD lol.

UPDATE:
I went to the local Target and there were no copies of Monsters, Inc left. They checked and said that there were no copies of it remaining in all the stores in the area. Hrumph! They said to check back Thursday or Friday but I have a feeling that it won't be back until Sunday when they can charge more for it. They've done this before. I'll check back but I'm pretty annoyed by this.

I've actually heard of deals that are $.98 + tax at Target!
$19.99 (UP Bluray)
$18.99 (Monsters, Inc. Bluray PM from Best Buy)
- $10 (Target Coupon)
- $10 (UP Coupon)
- $8 (Monsters, Inc. Coupon)
- $10 (Coupon on Monsters, Inc. box for buying both together!)
= $.98 + tax
I'm going to try for this deal tomorrow at another Target because the Target I went to today didn't have any Monsters, Inc. Blurays.

You should ask for a raincheck then.
And as for going to Target and getting everything for .98, I don't think that is possible. I got both Blu-Rays at Best Buy for $23.68 with tax! But let me know if it happenes because it will be a crazy deal!

Oh, no! You should have looked at it! Maybe you can go back and get some money refunded. As a matter of fact, is it possible that you can upload a picture of the slipcover with the coupon so I can know what to look for?
Oh and those whom are skeptical, I've seen PICTURES of receipts that were only $.98! :O

I already ripped up my best buy ad!

something told me to save it, I should have listen! UGHHH, that stupid woman! Still, I think $13.01 is still good for two blu-ray discs.

IF I buy the 4 disc blu ray combo pack of UP do I lose anything playable on a standard dvd player? In other words, do I still get the 2 shorts and the 22 minute feature on the digital copy disc that are playable without a blu ray player. Even though I don't plan on going blu ray for quite a while and when I do I won't be re buying anything as I am happy enough with dvd if all of the features on the 2 disc dvd are on the 2 non blu ray discs of the combo pack I might as well get the blu ray just because I may get a blu ray player for upconverting and then I'll be able to play the blu ray only features. BUT I don't want to lose anything that I'd get on the 2 disc dvd until I finally get a bd player. Thanks in advance for your patience with a confused dvder.

According to the UD review, the deluxe DVD is packaged in the combo (not the single disc DVD). So get the combo.

Thanks Barbossa. I know I'll be getting a bd player if just for upconverting eventually. And with the $10 coupon the 4 disc blu ray is cheaper than the 2 disc deluxe. Since the features (shorts & deleted scene & 22 minute featurette & commentary) are in it I'd be a fool not to buy the combo. I appreciate your advice.

Went to two different Targets..... The first was a Super Target and they did not have Monsters Inc. Some guy claimed that the entire Orlando area Target stores did not get Monsters Inc. (to which I responded "Yeah, right. You're just saying that because your store didn't stock enough to meet demand. AGAIN."

). So, I went to my local Target store and they had both items... However, they wouldn't price match because they said the Best Buy Blu-ray didn't come with the Adventure Book and that was a Target Exclusive.
Oh well, all said and done it was $21.57 for both Blu-ray packages. I have no use for the DVD's / digital copies, so I'll just sell those at F.Y.E.
Cheers,
JM

Yeah, I'm sure that Disney would not spend money to alter the DVD disc in the combo in any way.
