Toy Story 2-pack was my first Disney DVD, which my little cousins watch every day :). Then I got Snow White as my first Platinum Edition and have gotten every other one that has been released.

The first Disney dvd's I got were for Christmas 1999 and were Inspector Gadget and Lady and the Tramp. The first ones I bought with my own money were Hercules and The Little Mermaid in April 2000. I am so glad I had a couple of rare titles from new. Who knows how much I might have had to spend to get them once they'd gone out of print! I can't remember what my first non Disney dvd was. It could have been a Friends one or possibly 10 Things I Hate About You. I was into buying Disney dvd's from the start and have a large collection of Disney dvd's (114 last time I counted) of both R1 and R2 titles.

Mine was Mary Poppins Gold Collection DVD - I was in a cd store and they were getting rid of this DVD, so I brought it for $12.99 still sealed - this is the first Disney Movie that I actually saw in a movie theater when I was just a little lad.

My first Disney DVD ever was The Lion King. I picked it this January. I picked it when I got to choose 4 free DVDs from my film club. Then I started to collect Disney DVDs (mainly classics but I do have some sequels as well).

My first animated Disney DVD was... Pocahontas. This was only about a week (or even less) ago.

I already have all the VHS so I really felt no need to replace them with DVDs--then I found out something was wrong with my VCR. ~.~

And, I dunno, the DVDs are nice, too (for the most part, anyway... the Pocahontas DVD transfer was embarrassingly bad).

The First DVD I got was Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella with Brandy. I got my DVD player last year for my birthday and it was the movie given to me along with it. I love this version of Cinderella so it was perfect for me ever since then though my copllection as grown tremendously. :)

Mine was Snow White. The PE looked to good to pass up. Plus I had just bought my first DVD player. Now I'm hooked  I buy 1-3 Disney DVDs every month. It's a very fun hobbie. :D Expensive though.

Hey, I think we should all share our memories on the day we got out first Disney DVD! Mine was Aladdin Platinum Edition (Yeah, I'm new.lol) I was astonished by the picture quality and the audio!!!!! It was amazing. The menus were superb and the case was awesome with the little front cover that opens and reveals information of the release. Best DVD in my collection (Atleast until October 18 when I get Titanicn SE and Nov 8 with Ducktales and Rescue Rangers. lol)

My first Disney DVD was probably my fifth DVD - I got a Goofy Movie (at that time released by Warner) in 2001. It was a big experience to jump on the DVD bandwagon. Now I have a pile of Disney DVDs, most are ones to keep such as TLK but I'm a bit of a sucker for the cheap package DVDs such as 'Everybody Loves Goofy' and the cheapquels (some aren't so bad... Musketeers is... OK...)

My first Disney DVD was also my first DVD: Tarzan! (the single-disc one) I can't imagine a time when I thought that tapes were better than discs. Now I know better. I'm also glad I realized that widescreen was better before I really started collecting DVDs. :)

Deja vu...

Anyway, my first Disney DVD was The Lion King in a sale last July. I decided that I would only get three Disney DVDs at first (Aladdin, The Little Mermaid and Alice in Wonderland were on my wish list), but I gave into the King of all DVDs. I didn't regret it at the time, but I'm sure that I would have been horrified if I saw what a Disney DVD gobbling monster I have become! More self confidence leads to an empty wallet...
