Sorry, I'm late, but I had trouble getting my Passport in order for the flight over in time for the ceremony!

I'd like to thank everyone who voted for me in both categories, and in each I was honoured to be placed with the other nominations. Also, in both the intelligent and informative categories, I'd like to say that there were several forum posters not nominated who were just as worthy as those that were - some of them being quite recent additions to the Ultimate Disney family.

But a note to everyone for next year: "Intelligent" does not mean "Opinionated" keep that in-mind when you vote

Personally my biggest pleasure comes from the fact that my thread was Disney DVD was voted Thread of the Year. At the time, I didn't think this thread may much impact as posts and poll entries soon trailed off. I'm pleased it was well regarded though, and I hope that if BVHE-Rep is reading this, he keeps that fact in mind.

Finally – I don't know what honours me the most, winning the highly coverted Golden Mickeys or the fact that Escapay remembered my Betty Boo obsession…

I had never even heard of Betty Boo until you mentioned it (I think in that "Which Celebrities Have You Crushed On?" thread) and now every so often, I remember the song and it takes forever to get it out of my head!

Thinking about the category and that I was considered for it is just such an honor and happiness, thank you all!

I'm glad that everyone seems to have enjoyed the awards... there was a noticeable increase in participation this year. I was really, really happy to see that; it makes it all the more worthwhile... so thanks to everyone for that. Thanks also to Disney Guru for another rockin' performance with The New Guruettes!

Hey UD fans, it's not too long until the next ceremony! Rumor has it next years broadcast will be all digital, so get your HD sets so you can see my new forehead! Plus-

Flanger-Hanger: Joan? What are you doing here, it's not until the start of June until the next awards show for UD.

Joan: Well ya know Flanger, you can't start too early, campaigns might begin soon and if ya wanna win anything...

F-H: Have you been living here since last June?

Joan: Ya, under the steps inside, anyway-

F-H: How the hell do you dot hat!?

Joan: I pan handle to get sandwiches from tourists.
