I thought this was gonna be stupid but I saw the trailer again and I really wanna see this

that musical teaser was funny. I hope the frogs do some singing in the movie, it's great stuff.

I just saw the musical teaser the other night when I saw "Casino Royale" and I have to say that I am now rediculously excited for this. I haven't been this excited for a Disney feature since "Lilo & Stitch." I'm hoping it surpasses my expectations.

I must admit, the dancing dinosaur reminds me of the marketing strategy for Chicken Little, but at the same time, everything else I've seen of the movie has had me dying laughing. Especially "I have a big head and little arms." I think the dinosaur will probably end up being my favorite character in the film. I personally am getting extremely excited for this and I can't wait to see it. Have you seen the musical teaser for it yet? It had me dying laughing when I saw it in theaters. I hope this restores your faith in the film since I have a feeling the dancing dinosaur will only appear during the end credits, if at all in the film.

yeah.... I agree... it's Chicken Little all over again. I'm not too excited right now. Will definitely see it though.

There's nothing wrong with Chicken Little.

And there's nothing wrong with that 30-second trailer from what I see. It shares the best jokes from the last two trailers, so it's not necessarily new, but people always defend Pixar when they're "getting their name out" by releasing an unfunny teaser over a year before it's release date, and Disney is just doing just that(getting the name out), and name one American household that DOESN'T watch the Super Bowl?

As for that last bit of the dinosaur dancing, I agree, maybe a bit useless, but I chuckled during it, and hey, absymbel sells ichabod: a big green farting monster taught us that.

I still very much looking forward to this movie. I never said the trailer had ruined my excitement for the film, I said it had ruined my faith in its success, meaning that such a crap marketting strategy I feel will be to its detriment.

I agree that the Dinosaur makes the marketing strategy feel more like "Chicken Little" all over again, which didn't bomb, but it was also released at a better time. March isn't a great time to release an animated film, so I don't think Disney has a whole lot of faith in this film. I think the last Disney animated film (by DFA) released around this time was "Home on the Range" which grossed about $30 million. Timon/Pumbaa fan, I like "Chicken Little." I'm just saying that the add campaign with the dancing chicken really dumbs things down and that the dancing dinosaur is very similar. However I did laugh at it and from the trailor, the dinosaur is my favorite character.

I wanted to watch it since last year. My interest in the movie did not come from hearing John Lasseter coming on board, but from watching the trailer for the first time on the High School Musical dvd (or I believe it is the HSM dvd).

I can't wait for this one. May this film bring in many good things for Disney!

Well Meet the Robinsons has been classified by the BBFC, and with the expception of Fantasia it is the longer Disney film yet at almost 102 minutes.

Interesting... seems Disney want to start making the gradual move to 2 hour films, like Pixar.

I'm really liking the look of this film, I'll definitely see it as soon as it comes out, and I hope I'll like it.

Well, while doesn't rave about it, says pretty much everything we've been hoping for: great and "original" story, rocking stylized animation, awesome Danny Elfman music(but when was the last time it wasn't?), great voice acting and 100% flatulence free.

The only problems with it though was that, like most critics will probably be, it was a tad too pro-Pixar("Finding Nemo" is their favorite Pixar film ) and if I'm reading the line correctly, he believes John Lasseter was completely responsible for MTR, which ichabod and I predicted. But still, it's hard to be too negative when Disney's FINALLY getting a fair review and most likely indicates somewhere in the 80's at Rotten Tomatoes for this film.

Also, apparently, the short "Boat Builders" will be in front of it. Would've been better had they chose "Modern Inventions" though.
