I don't think it is about size, but that it is more about effort. Seems to me like you just bought the dvds. All though impressive, I still prefer darth_deetoo's over your collection.

Romantic..... but worthless!!! When you are collecting art or wine it is about effort or taste!!! When it is about Disney Movies: more is better!!! And you? How many do you have?

Come on guys, this thread isn't called "lets all argue about who has the better collection". Have you noticed the amount of people lately saying that they don't feel comfortable posting their collections because they feel they're not good enough?

Maybe that's because everyone keeps arguing over whose is better and who has the most stuff. If you're that concerned, start a poll and have people vote on whose collection they think is better. My collection is more like dart_deetoo's, I choose to collect all kinds of Disney stuff, not just DVDs, so I dont' have nearly as much as Reyquila, maybe about 1/4 of what he has. There are some releases that I wish I had, but alot of the stuff doesn't intrest me (like the playschool disney), and since I have no kids to share it with, I choose to spend my money buying snoglobes or other things I can enjoy.

I'm not trying to be rude or get anyone upset, but lets stop turning this thread into some schoolyard fight. We're all adults here, so lets take the high road and stop egging each other on and putting other people down.

Oh, I understand what you're saying. We all get defensive, but eventually someone needs to be the bigger person. I think people take your comments the wrong way sometimes because you make it sound that because people don't have as many DVDs as yours their collections are not as good. So people feel attacked and try to defend themselves, then we get into this circle of sarcasm and insults.

I'm just saying it's getting a little sad. If people want to argue with each other, you can do it over email or PMs. Any public posts you're making, try and make sure they're respectful, and remember, everyone on this board sees them, not just the person you're posting to.

Again: I did not begin!!! I was enthusiastic about my movies and was attacked with a sarcastic comment. I have no reason for taking that!! I responded. I did not want to start anything!! I really don't know why some people here can't live without the attacks towards me. Then they say: "Duh, I'm just going to ignore him" and then they drool profusely when staring at my collection. Sorry, but that's the truth!!

I noticed that people who tend to regularly fight on UD start up the same fights again WITHOUT anything actually happening. I'm not taking sides, but you guys should just let it go before you ruin this thread for everyone.

Says who? Just because it came from Disney or is branded by BVHE or one of their subsidiaries doesn't necessarily mean it's going to appeal to everyone's tastes. If you think you're a collector, that's fine: I think you're a buyer. And a pompous windbag.

Reyquila, I enjoy looking at your pics when you post them. Congratulations on your collection! You have every reason to be proud of it. However, putting others down because they don't own as many as you is wrong. Some don't want to buy the preschool stuff, some don't like DTV's, etc. That doesn't mean they are not a hardcore Disney fan. Also, some can't afford everything they want to buy and your comments may really hurt those people. For me, it's a combination of both - lack of money and lack of interest in some of the DVD's, but I assure you, I am a huge fan and have been my whole life. And if others attack you first, just let it go.

I really hope this thread doesn't degenerate like the last one did. It's a fun thread, and after I get settled into my new place, I'd like to post my collection as well.

I did not boast!! I just said that when I got to 400 I was going to post pictures. (which I did). Apparently that irritated you (that according to your own admission). To be collector you have to buy things!! Non buyers are fans! I have no problem with fans! I happen to be both: a fan and a collector!! A pompous collector in your words!! I love this forum to much to go away!! I have learned a lot from many people here.

I wont respond to any attack. I know is envy, so I'll just be kind to those "poor unfortunate souls"!!
