3 Disney titles? The only one I see is Alice in Wonderland. (Of course, I only really follow Disney's animated films, with AiW being a rare exception to that.....)
So... I'm saying "immediately recognizable" Disney titles. Why not the original Alice in Wonderland? Why not The Great Mouse Detective? Why not the first two Toy Stories? They all came out fairly recently.

Well, When in Rome is a Touchstone production, so that's what the second one is. No idea what the #3 Disney title is.

Look harder.

I think Disney should be putting more animation on DVD too. Take it up with Disney.

This was never The Ultimate Guide to Immediately Recognizable Disney DVD. But I agree, Disney should be putting more "immediately recognizable" titles on DVD. Take it up with Disney.

It's a summer logo; those aren't summer releases. Alice in Wonderland ('51) and the Toy Stories were also both prominently represented in the most recent forum logo.

I'm glad it's included in the banner. Any chance to look at Kristen Bell is a plus in my book.

I agree with Estefan, it's too cluttered. Personally I think something simple like the two titles and one picture to represent a Disney release and one to represent a non-Disney release would work better *shrugs*

The clutter is part of the Facebook contest for the banner, so it's understandable.

Understandable if you're aware of said contest

I like it overall, but I don't like the random empty space behind 'DVDizzy.com'

Then how would people be able to read the logo (unless you change the font color)?

Even more understandable if you were a fan of UD on Facebook.

You can see the Ultimate Disney logo, and there are pictures behind that.

I like the new banner, Luke.
Unfortunately, I have a feeling you'll also be getting a lot of angry e-mails and/or comments from people who dislike the absence of "UltimateDisney.com"
Still, anything that puts Taran in the center and Tina Fey in the forefront gets a

from me.

@ Homer and Demi. I didn't know that they were so close. Yay for Taran. That's
Prince of Persia next to "DVDizzy.com"? So there are 3 Disney pics out of 12? Oh, and I see what you're doing with the green guy, Taran, and the
Kick-Ass girl all together like that. That's the grrr section..you know, like tough.

Thanks for noticing and commenting. I count 5 out of 12 Disney titles (including one Touchstone), which as usual is based on what we'll be reviewing.

Oh wow, I didn't even notice James and the Giant Peach! When you said there were 5, I started looking more, and realized that what I thought was just some shrubbery by Tina & Steve was James and the Spider!

Same here! I was like, ".....All I see it Taran. WTF!?" And then I was like, "Oh, OK, so James and Miss Spider are there, too." And then I was like, "When is this gradual phasing out of Disney stuff going to just get over with already? Is it either just going to revert to normal someday, or will it cut all affiliations with the fact that it was ever a Disney-related site?"

It's like Where's Waldo...I just spotted James & Miss Spider.

Let's see if I got all the Disney-affiliated titles correctly...
James and The Giant Peach
The Last Song
The Black Cauldron
Prince of Persia
and I assume Demi Lovato's inclusion is a nod to Camp Rock 2?
Cheers,
JM

I'm really liking the new banner on the site,
Luke! It's fun trying to find all the movies that are included.

I think it works really well with the soft blue color of the forums too. Nice job!

Okay, let's list all the titles we can spot in the new banner.
MegaMind
Tangled
Tron Legacy
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Incredibles
And I believe that's Zack Gala...however you spell it from "Due Date"
I know there are a lot more in there, but I'll let the rest of you have a turn.
