I think the best one is the platinum edition, and then the masterpiece edition.

I dont care about the labels on the box, even when here outside the States the dvds don´t come with any.

The most important thing is obviously the quality of the edition, and things such as Transfer, meaty features, interesting documentaries, beautiful galleries, and stuff like that, and why not? a nicelly done packaging.

The Platinum editions are suposed to be "la creme de la creme", top notch disney dvds, but I found some non platinum editions far better than some platinums, Sleeping Beauty or the new Mary Poppins for example...

Honestly... what is the difference between these labels?

I know that Platinum and Special Editions are usually (always?) 2-disc sets but I can't differenciate the two... or any of the others from the other for that matter.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

Of course I'd end up answering my own question. ~.~

Found the page that explains the different types of releases. So very confusing.

PE, ME, and Treasures are all great so far.

The Gold Collections and Limited Issue's still have some great titles yet to get the treatment they deserve. It's only a matter of time...

Platinum editions are by far the best thing. I also like special editions. :)
