What's the best transfer you've seen so far?
Mine will definetely have to be The Lion King's transfer, since it was restored and remastered. I was blown away by it. Then after that it will go like this:
2-) Snow white--For such an old movie it really stands out as one of the best I've seen.
3-)Sleeping Beauty- It looks good as new.
4-)Aladdin- Although not as great as The Lion King's, this transfer is one of the best Disney has made so far, I really liked it and it was worth the wait.
5-) Beauty and the Beast-- It has never looked better than on DVD, it should've been higher but suffers with constant disturbing artifacts, but still it was a great transfer.
What are yours??
(Sorry if this has been discussed already but I don't know if it has)

Am I missing something? The Lion King's transfer certainly doesn't rank near the top for me. During dark scenes, it seemed heavily pixelated.
I'd say Snow White. Not only did they do a bang up restoration job, with no dirt or imperfections to be seen anywhere, but the transfer itself is incredibly crisp and colorful and displays the film in the best possible way. Fantasia, Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Tarzan, and Atlantis are all great too.

I thought <i>The Lion King</i>'s transfer was terrific, as was <i>Aladdin</i>'s. <i>Snow White</i>'s was stunning, and most of the newer films (<i>Home on the Range</i>, <i>The Emperor's New Groove</i>, <i>Tarzan</i>, <i>Dinosaur</i>)) look fan-tastic.
I think many of those are flawless, or very close to it. Also, for pure digital perfection, nothing quite tops Pixar's transfers!
As for live action titles, generally those that received some extras have received nice remaster jobs too. I'm thinking Vault Disney titles, <i>Darby O'Gill</i>, <i>Freaky Friday</i>. Then again, <i>The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band</i> and <i>Follow Me, Boys!</i> got some extras and those don't look too hot. There's less consistency there, and also a much wider range of transfer quality.

Disney's done a ton of excellent transfers. Here are some of my favorites (no particular order):
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Alice in Wonderland (Masterpiece Edition)
Sleeping Beauty
Aladdin
The Lion King
And pretty much every Disney film from Tarzan onward
All of Pixar's tranfers are amazing, too.
Other transfers such as Beauty and the Beast and Mulan (Special Edition) are generally great, but don't rank up with the others due to digital artifacts and edge enhancement.

Great-looking Disney DVD transfers:
- All the Pixar films
- Beauty and the Beast
- Aladdin
- Lion Kings 1, 1 1/2, and 2
- Sleeping Beauty
- Snow White
- Lilo & Stitch
Good-looking, but flawed Disney DVD transfers:
- All the Limited Issue and/or Gold Collection titles
A variety of flaws exist in the transfers, such as grain, moire effects, pixelation, and minor print flaws - but they looked good with excellent color saturation and crisp images.
- Mulan: Special Edition
The image looked a bit soft and didn't look as sharp as the best-looking Platinum titles, but that was the only flaw about the transfer itself.
- Pirates of the Caribbean
The image looked soft with some line noise and moire effects, and the crushed blacks prevented from inner object detail.

1 - Lion King and Snow White (they´re both top notch for me)
2 - some recent films (treasure planet, lilo and stitch, home on the range or emperor´s new groove, BUT NOT brother bear)
3 - Alice in wonderland Masterpiece Edition
4 - Aladdin
5 - Sleeping Beauty

Aladdin's transfer is my favorite 2-D followed by the Emperor's New Groove, and Tarzan. The transfers have hardly any pixelation, color banding, or even color bleeding (which could have been a real issue for Aladdin.) Snow White was a great restoration and transfer as well!
My favorite 3-D transfer has got to be the transfer of Finding Nemo or Toy Story 2 (The One in the Ultimate Toy Box). They are both so beautiful! The other transfers are good too, but these really shine as far as I'm concerned.
My favorite Live action transfer to date has got to be Pirates of the Carribean (as far as Disney Goes) but outside of the Disney realms, I'd probably have to say The Lord of the Rings extended editions take the cake.

I think the Platinum Editions
are the best so far - especially Snow White.
