Cool Offer - Buy the Movie, get the poster free!

Post by Luke »

I don't know if any of you DMC members got the latest mailing and have found the time to look through it, but they have an offer where if you buy any of these 12 movies on DVD or VHS, you get a 16 x 24 inch vintage poster reproduction.

The titles in this offer are:
Alice in Wonderland (ME)
The Aristocats
Dumbo
Bedknobs and Bromsticks
The Fox and the Hound
The Love Bug
The Great Mouse Detective
The Sword in the Stone
Davy Crockett Two-Movie Set (poster is of River Pirates)
Mary Poppins (Gold Collection)
The Apple Dumpling Gang
Pete's Dragon

I don't have, but have been meaning to get several of these: The Aristocats, Pete's Dragon, The Apple Dumpling Gang, The Fox and the Hound, and Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

The offer's only good while supplies last, and these aren't eligible for additional discounts.

I'm tempted, but don't really have the funds. But maybe you guys do. They sure look snazzy!

Oh wow!!! I almost wish I didn't already own Pete's Dragon and Bedknobs & Broomsticks. I'd love to get these, but I can't really justify rebuying them just for the poster. Besides, the posters can be found on eBay for relatively inexpensive prices sometimes. The other titles looks cool, too. So while I won't be taking advantage of it, it's a great opportunity for others, and it's nice to see that DMC has their collector's base in mind. Now if they could only bring the rest of their club up to speed with the likes of Columbia House.
